Volume 17 Sermons 968-1027 Charles Spurgeon (19 June 1834 – 31 January 1892) is one of the church’s most famous preachers and Christianity’s foremost prolific writers. Called the “Prince of Preachers,” he was one of England's most notable ministers for most of the second half of the nineteenth century, and he still remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations today. His sermons have spread all over the world, and his many printed works have been cherished classics for decades. In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to more than 10 million people, often up to ten times each week. He was the pastor of the congregation of the New Park Street Chapel (later the Metropolitan Tabernacle) in London for 38 years. He was an inexhaustible author of various kinds of works including sermons, commentaries, an autobiography, as well as books on prayer, devotionals, magazines, poetry, hymns and more. Spurgeon was known to produce powerful sermons of penetrating thought and divine inspiration, and his oratory and writing skills held his audiences spellbound. Many Christians have discovered Spurgeon's messages to be among the best in Christian literature. Edward Walford wrote in Old and New London: Volume 6 (1878) quoting an article from the Times regarding one of Spurgeon’s meetings at Surrey: “Fancy a congregation consisting of 10,000 souls, streaming into the hall, mounting the galleries, humming, buzzing, and swarming—a mighty hive of bees—eager to secure at first the best places, and, at last, any place at all. After waiting more than half an hour—for if you wish to have a seat you must be there at least that space of time in advance—Mr. Spurgeon ascended his tribune. To the hum, and rush, and trampling of men, succeeded a low, concentrated thrill and murmur of devotion, which seemed to run at once, like an electric current, through the breast of every one present, and by this magnetic chain the preacher held us fast bound for about two hours. It is not my purpose to give a summary of his discourse. It is enough to say of his voice, that its power and volume are sufficient to reach every one in that vast assembly; of his language, that it is neither high-flown nor homely; of his style, that it is at times familiar, at times declamatory, but always happy, and often eloquent; of his doctrine, that neither the 'Calvinist' nor the 'Baptist' appears in the forefront of the battle which is waged by Mr. Spurgeon with relentless animosity, and with Gospel weapons, against irreligion, cant, hypocrisy, pride, and those secret bosom-sins which so easily beset a man in daily life; and to sum up all in a word, it is enough to say of the man himself, that he impresses you with a perfect conviction of his sincerity.” More than a hundred years after his death, Charles Spurgeon’s legacy continues to effectively inspire the church around the world. For this reason, Delmarva Publications has chosen to republish the complete works of Charles Spurgeon.

While Kierkegaard is perhaps known best as a religious thinker and philosopher, there is an unmistakable literary element in his writings. He often explains complex concepts and ideas by using literary figures and motifs that he could assume his readers would have some familiarity with. This dimension of his thought has served to make his writings far more popular than those of other philosophers and theologians, but at the same time it has made their interpretation more complex. Kierkegaard readers are generally aware of his interest in figures such as Faust or the Wandering Jew, but they rarely have a full appreciation of the vast extent of his use of characters from different literary periods and traditions. The present volume is dedicated to the treatment of the variety of literary figures and motifs used by Kierkegaard. The volume is arranged alphabetically by name, with Tome II covering figures and motifs from Gulliver to Zerlina.

Brain, brain in the shell... Whoever has the best intentions, will never feel in hell. Everything happens inside the neuron cell... But yell, and tell to ring the bell. Brain ... brain in the shell... - Ana Guerreiro We know that our brain is full of absurdly complex and tangled “wires”, leading us to ask almost daily: "Why did i do that?", "How can i forget that?", "How could i not remember such a thing? ”, and “What the hell is wrong with me?” Our brains seem a little stupid, ignorant and very “clumsy”, sometimes. Why is it that we are led by so many temptations? Are they really that impossible to circumvent? Most of us live without using our potential. There are, at least, 50 gray matter “temptations”. It’s true, we have a very demanding biology. She wants constant pleasure, because that means survival. She has billions of years of evolution, with many whims. It is difficult to face it. Really? I don’t think so!

"Dark Psychology Mastery Vol 1: The Art of Dark Seduction & Persuasion Unveiled" brings together two of Michael Pace's most compelling works, offering an unprecedented deep dive into the realms of dark seduction and persuasion. This book is a must-read for those intrigued by the darker aspects of influence and human psychology. Michael Pace, the author who coined the term “Dark Psychology” in 2014, shocked the world with his groundbreaking book, "Dark Psychology 101," released in August 2015. His work provided a raw, unfiltered glimpse into a hidden world previously unknown to most, revealing the tactics and principles wielded by history's most influential and nefarious minds. Now, in "Dark Psychology Mastery Vol 1," Pace continues this exploration, dissecting the intricate web of dark seduction and persuasion. "Dark Seduction: The Dark Truth About Seduction And How To Use It To Get What You Want From Love, Sex, Relationships, And Romance" is the first book in this compelling volume. Pace delves into the art of seduction, a potent force in human interaction, which can lead to both immense pleasure and profound pain. This book represents the apex of knowledge in the field of seduction, uncovering secrets so powerful that they have been banned in some countries. It's a journey through the practical, psychological, and philosophical aspects of seduction from a darker perspective, offering an unvarnished look at the most effective techniques. The second part, "Dark Methods of Persuasion: How To Use Dark Persuasion Techniques To Convince, Influence And Persuade Anyone And Get Them To Do What You Desire," takes the reader into the world of dark persuasion. This work is not just about the theory of persuasion but its practical applications in extreme and everyday scenarios. From negotiating with terrorists to manipulating personal relationships, Pace provides an eye-opening guide to the power of persuasion. This combination of seduction and persuasion forms "Dark Psychology Mastery Vol 1," an essential guide for anyone interested in the darker side of psychological influence. It’s not for the faint-hearted, but for those brave enough to explore, it offers unparalleled insight into the power of dark psychology. Proceed with caution, and prepare to be enlightened and empowered by Michael Pace's expertise.
