Hope: Where Can We Find It? This book has laid down a number of hopeful stories with references from the Bible to some contemporaries of our times. Notwithstanding the trials, temptations, or pain we may go through, we can always hold onto the hope God has extended to us. Believers in Christ and nonbelievers, don't allow your yesterday to steal your today. Your past cannot dictate your today and future. That is what we call hope. Hope backed by faith makes us certain of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot envision. So where can we find hope? The answer is clear and simple. We can only find hope in Jesus Christ. Jesus did not come only to bring us salvation, but he's our only hope too. We have hope because Jesus has forgiven us our sins and has further converted all of us into his icon as children of the father. Jesus is hope. He finds us rest when there's no hope. "Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my Hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge" (Psalms 62:5-7). Have you ever bothered to read into the promises of God to mankind? Hope is found in all the promises God has given his children. You cannot find Hope anywhere, except in Jesus Christ alone. His promises are yes and amen, and he does not take his words back nor change his mind. "God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" (Numbers 23:19) Hope is found in the promises God has given us, so why do you doubt the promises of God? We doubt it because his timing is not ours. The Scripture says in James 1:6, "If we doubt while we ask, we will not receive anything from Him, because we are unsteady. He who doubts is like a wave of the sea blown and tossed by the wind." As salvation is found in no one else but in Christ, so is hope. It's found in no other but in Christ Jesus. Keep your hope alive in Jesus, not in man.

The Will To See written by Bernard-Henri Lévy and has been published by Yale University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-10-26 with Political Science categories.

An unflinching look at the most urgent humanitarian crises around the globe, from one of the world’s most daring philosopher-reporters “Call[s] on people not just to see the world, but to be moved and interested by what they find there, and to do something about it.”—Anne Applebaum, The Atlantic “Fierce and elegant, Lévy’s musings will be of profound interest to any reader of modern continental philosophy.”—Kirkus Reviews, starred review Over the past fifty years, renowned public intellectual Bernard-Henri Lévy has reported extensively on human rights abuses around the world. This new book follows the intrepid Lévy into eight international hotspots—in Nigeria; Syrian and Iraqi Kurdistan; Ukraine; Somalia; Bangladesh; Lesbos, Greece; Libya; and Afghanistan—that have escaped global attention or active response. In a deeply personal introduction, Lévy recounts the intellectual journey that led him to advocacy, arguing that a truly humanist philosophy must necessarily lead to action in defense of the most vulnerable. In the second section, he reports on the eight investigative trips he undertook just before or during the coronavirus pandemic, from the massacred Christian villages in Nigeria to a dangerously fragile Afghanistan on the eve of the Taliban talks, from an anti-Semitic ambush in Libya to the overrun refugee camp on the island of Lesbos. Part manifesto, part missives from the field, this new book is a stirring rebuke to indifference and an exhortation to level our gaze at those most hidden from us.

Got Hope written by Dwaine Martin and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-06-02 with categories.

Scripture, according to the Hebrew and Greek original, the word, "HOPE" is an indication of certainty. "HOPE", elsewhere in Scripture means, "a strong and confident expectation". Though out-of-date it seems, today in modern terms, HOPE is akin, "to trust and a buoyant believing". HOPE may refer to the activity of hoping, or to the object hoped for as the content of one's hope. But, by its very nature, HOPE stresses two things: (a) OPPORTUNITY, and (b) INVISIBILITY. It deals with things we can't see, or haven't received, or both. We may see some of the results, but it still requires faith and hope to see through to the FINISHED WORK. For example, we do not see the justifying work of God, the imputing of Christ's righteousness to our account, nor do we see the indwelling of the Holy Spirit when we are infilled, nor are we able to see our co-union with Christ. We believe these things to be a reality, but it is all a matter of our HOPE. We believe in the testimony of God's Word and hope for the results in our lives. HOPE is the confident expectation, the assured certainty, that what God promised is true, and occurs in accordance with God's sure Word. To think we operate in Bible HOPE, without knowing this premise is to admittedly come short of what God provides. Contrary to every evidence of our own thoughts, HOPE is not about what we see, but about WHO WE HAVE, and WHO WE ARE attached unto. You see, the very foundation of the O.T. word for HOPE, means, "a binding; a cord attached; an expectancy". As inspired by the Holy Spirit, the word used for HOPE prescribes what is beneficial in all that HOPE is about. HOPE is, and becomes, the binding of our heart unto the Father of our existence, with no option for its breaking apart. As the Father's hand does not allow for anyone to remove/pluck us out of His hand; so it is with HOPE...JOHN 10:28-29 However spiritual we may think we are, the fact remains that we are tremendously influenced by temporal standards. It is a continuous battleground as to how things stand in this world before men, and even as to what the great religious leaders, and even evangelical leaders of our time, regard as the important thing. It has a good deal of influence with us. Yet, it is out of HOPE's existence that there springs an eternal thought, that God is the ANSWER. Regardless of the tragedies that strike; regardless of the loss and destruction there is evident in this life and its living...STILL HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL.
