It was March 1st 2000 when I secretly went into prayer regarding a thought that kept coming to my mind, writing another book about God. On the 2nd of March, I asked the Lord to give me a title to this new book. I believe the Lord answered my prayer, by telling me to use my faith and do something “just for Him and receive a blessing”. On March 3rd, I began to fast and pray, the Lord told me to run three miles a day for seven days while fasting for seven hours each of these same days. On March 9th 2000, the title of the Lord’s new book came to me as I finished the last day of running three miles, which took place on Garrett Mountain, in the city of Paterson, NJ. The title, Seeing God. The book was finished on Saturday, May 12th at 10:29am. Thank You, Lord for speaking to and answering my prayers.

Why is God's beauty often absent from our theology? Rarely do theologians take up the theme of God's beauty—even more rarely do they consider how God's beauty should shape the task of theology itself. But the psalmist says that the heart of the believer's desire is to behold the beauty of the Lord. In The Beauty of the Lord, Jonathan King restores aesthetics as not merely a valid lens for theological reflection, but an essential one. Jesus, our incarnate Redeemer, displays the Triune God's beauty in his actions and person, from creation to final consummation. How can and should theology better reflect this unveiled beauty? The Beauty of the Lord is a renewal of a truly aesthetic theology and a properly theological aesthetics.

A Probing and Powerful Look at the Role You Play in Shaping Your Relationship with God No matter how hard we look, the God of Israel cannot be seen. Looking is not seeing, and seeing God is not like seeing an apple. It is much more like making a medical diagnosis on the basis of looking at a complex set of symptoms. Each of the symptoms is a dot. We can look at the dots and still miss the pattern. from Part I The Torah is replete with references to hearing God but precious few references to seeing God. Seeing is complicated. What we look for and see are traces of God s presence in the world and in history, but not God. In order to identify those traces as reflections of divine presence, we need to re-examine how we see, what we see, and how we interpret that information. In this challenging and inspiring look at the dynamics of the religious experience, award-winning author and theologian Neil Gillman guides you into a new way of seeing the complex patterns in the Bible, history, and everyday experiences and helps you interpret what those patterns mean to you and your relationship with God. Examining faith and doubt, revelation and law, suffering and redemption, Gillman candidly deconstructs familiar biblical moments in order to help you develop and refine your own spiritual vision, so that you are able to discern the presence of God in unanticipated ways."

Turn Around And See The Lord written by Joy Vassal and has been published by Xulon Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-03 with categories.

The book Turn Around and See the Lord takes inspiration from the experience that Mary Magdalene had with Christ Jesus and His angels at the Lord's sepulchre. The author relates Mary's human frailties to the emotional discomfort, stress, poverty, famine, social mishaps and political servitude that may come upon us. These hardships, she believes, are inflicted upon some believers because of their wickedness, stubbornness, unbelief and lack of simple trust in Jehovah God. She recommends that there is a need for a change or repentance. The author has put together more than twenty renowned biblical characters and her personal-life testimony to address some of the challenges our generation is facing with idol worship and adulterous and obnoxious practices. Rev. Joy Vassal was born in Allison, Manchester-Jamaica West Indies. While she was living in Jamaica she studied at Beaumont College and graduated from Caledonia Educational College Jamaica. When she came to Toronto, Canada, she continued her education, where she matriculated in the Ministerial Affirmation and the Ministerial Internship Programs offered by the Church of God and Lee College (now Lee University) in Cleveland, Tennessee. She obtained an Addiction Social Worker's Diploma at Everest College (formerly CDI College). She is currently attending Tyndale University and Seminary. Joy is a devoted member of the West Toronto New Testament Church of God, where she serves as Missions Representative. Joy is a prolific playwright. Her playwriting skills were exemplified in The Old Man and the New Man drama production that she wrote and produced. It was an educative and insightful episode, which was developed for television in 1999. She also produced two other plays, Gloria Suffering and The King Is Coming. Adding to her writing schedule, she writes for Miles magazine, Canada's first Christian magazine covering current events, issues and testimonials worldwide.
