My objective with this book was to collect poetry over a period of time and showcase them in the order I wrote them. I wanted to express my life and experiences in words; a self-portrait in poetry form. I was about sixteen years old when I wrote the first poem, "Another thing entirely" and so began the twelve-year span of poetry in this book. My hope is that you can connect with my poetry and relate to them in your own experiences.
