This book is a long dialogue, mostly in verse, Telling the story of a Jewish family cursed. It's against my religion to speak badly of another Because it means exposing my handsome big brother. This is just another Jewish woman's tale of woe; Will others want to read it? I really don't know. Here's my secret sacred story, my very great lesson- The mind, which is timeless, makes the past still present My fear is this simple sad telling rhyme Will sound cliche, sour grapes and be a waste of time. But to tell it now I simply still must In order to celebrate the God that I trust.

Repent, the Kingdom of God is near. Where there is law, there is sin and where there is sin, there is the salary that is death. Man, by his disobedience, broke his covenant with God. This created a barrier in his relationship with God. As the Lord God is compassionate God, He does not please in the death of the wicked, but He wants him to repent and have eternal life. He says it in his word: "God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes may not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). To restore this relationship torn because of the sin, God turns towards the man He had created in his own image and according to his likeness. He gave him the way to encounter Him, the way of repentance. It’s all the author recalls in this book the immensity of God's love in these times of the end that precede the return of Jesus Christ. He talks about it in detail so that everyone can review their lives and embark on the path of salvation.

Imagine having to stand in front of Allah (s.w.t.) and watch the sin being committed in front of you then having to explain it. Allah (s.w.t.) mentions in surah Ali Imran, verse 135, “And those who, when they commit immorality or wrong themselves [by trangression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins…” Keep the door of repentance open between you and Allah because He is always ready to forgive you.

“The book was written to be studied, and reviewed and recited by children of a suitable age, to establish in their minds correct and abiding views of one of the fundamental doctrines of the Gospel.” Written in the format of a mother’s conversation with her children, the topics include different kinds of sorrow, what is sin, selfishness, and free agency. Many examples are given of false repentance and its forms. True repentance requires one to discern motivations, and to adopt the right understanding. Repentance “will be of no use unless it proceeds from a heart-felt sorrow for your sins, as committed against a wise, holy, just and good God. It will be of no use, unless you feel also a sincere reliance on Jesus Christ as your only Savior. It will be of no use, if it is made in your own strength.” The title page states that the book was written for children, but mentions it is “designed also for older persons.”

"The contents of this volume consist largely of the Smyth Lectures delivered at Columbia Theological Seminary, 1941. Chapters III and VI have been completely rewritten and there has been some revision in each of the other four. The conclusions stated in these chapters have grown out of firsthand investigation of the materials lying in the twenty-seven 'canonical books' of the New Testament. The method pursued has been to study the New Testament directly, rather than to read what others say about it. It is an increasingly strong conviction with me that we as ministers have not done enough of this kind of study. Reference to the various theories of authorship, date, and provenance of the 'books' has been studiously avoided, for the simple reason that I wanted to examine the New Testament as a body of writings expressing the convictions and faith of the Early Church." --From the Preface

The Necessity of Repentance: Renewed In Knowledge is all about the sin we commit as humans on this earth and how we deal with sin in our lives. God put The Ten Commandments in place for a reason: in order that the people He created would follow simple rules and instructions as they live on the earth. What do we do after the sin is committed? Apostle Johnson says that it is absolutely vital that we recognize our sins, ask for forgiveness, and most importantly repent of our actions. Then can we find forgiveness and peace that comes with acknowledging our wrongs before our Creator. Once we repentant, we can rest in our knowledge and learn from our sin. Repentance is necessary. Jesus Christ died for our sins. There is life after death. Are you still walking in un-forgiveness? Are you your brother s keeper?

The Nature Necessity And Character Of True Repentance written by Zachary Crofton and has been published by Puritan Publications this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-10-13 with Religion categories.

When you finish reading this practical work by Zachary Crofton on biblical repentance, you might say to yourself, “I’ve never repented.” That’s the kind of impact he is going to have on you if you read this work even in a cursory manner. In order to have a deeper walk with Christ, repentance is at the heart and life of the sinner who walks comfortably with God. However, repenting, reordering and realigning your fallen mind to sit in connection with God’s will, is not as simple as praying a prayer, as some would have you believe. Crofton says that repentance is a “sense of, and sorrow for sin, as committed against God.” The sinner must spread himself before the Law of God to survey the entire course of his own life. He needs to weigh himself in the balance of God’s perfection. The Gospel-sinner knows he is imperfect, and in view of God’s Law, which shows him his sin, he comes away not just lacking in some spiritual and moral goodness, but sees the utter viciousness of his nature against God’s prescription for holiness. He then sentences himself as accursed of God, agreeing that the Law is right and good, and he knows that he is “bound” to experience God’s Divine fury for his sin in hell by God’s justice which is just and good. He not only sees that he is a true sinner before God, but sorrows under his understanding of sin, and is “ashamed of such a sad and sinful state.” He comes to learn that repentance is a supernatural gift given to him from God, and that he must turn from sin and confess his sin. This kind of repentance is necessary to remove the wrath and judgment of God and to “answer the call of the gospel,” which requires everyone to repent. Crofton explains the characteristics of true biblical repentance from 2 Corinthians 7:11. There are eight characteristics that he covers: godly sorrow, care, clearing of ourselves, indignation, fear, vehement desire, zeal and revenge against sin. And, finally, Crofton demonstrates 10 points which show how you, reader, might gain godly repentance, completely soaking the sinful heart in the blood of Jesus, with great speed, and earnestly looking for repentance only at the hands of God.
