Masing-masing saling memperkaya dan mengarahkan dua lainnya. Buku ini merupakan bunga rampai dari pengalaman para penulis dalam keterlibatan mereka di Sinode Keuskupan, yang dibagi dalam 3 pokok pembahasan, yaitu Sinode, Persekutuan dan Partisipasi, serta Kesaksian dan Misi. Semua pengalaman keterlibatan itu menggambarkan suatu energi yang disinergikan menjadi kekuatan bersama mewujudkan Sinodalitas Gereja. Gereja tidak berjalan sendiri. Gereja juga tidak dibangun sendiri. Di dalamnya banyak energi dari berbagai pribadi, kelompok, dan lembaga, yang semuanya diarahkan, disinergikan, dan disatukan oleh Roh Kudus untuk membangun Gereja yang bersekutu, berpartisipasi, dan bermisi mewujudkan karya keselamatan Allah di tengah dunia yang terus berkembang dengan segala kemajuan dan tantangannya. Sinodalitas Gereja menjadi perjalanan bersama semua orang menanam benih-benih kebenaran, keadilan, kebaikan bersama, solidaritas yang mengalir dari Kabar Gembira Yesus Kristus. Sinodalitas bukan sekadar rapat atau pertemuan. Sinodalitas adalah dinamika hidup Gereja dalam bimbingan Roh Kudus mewujudkan persekutuan umat beriman inklusif, partisipatif, dan transformatif.
