Jika tuduhan itu benar, sebagai ksatria ia tidak akan lari dari tuduhan, hal ini terbukti saat mempertanggungjawabkan kasus penculikan aktivis 1998 di Dewan Kehormatan Perwira. Jalan panjang penuh duri dilewati Prabowo tanpa keluh kesah, layak jika ia maju sebagai calon Presiden RI periode 2009-2014. Pengalaman Prabowo Subianto sebagai seorang prajurit TNI akan membawa bangsa ini menjadi bangsa yang tegas dan pantang menekuk pundak di hadapan bangsa lain.
