Social Entrepreneurship And Social Innovation written by Mario Biggeri and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-09-21 with Business & Economics categories.

This book provides comprehensive and advanced analysis of the characteristics of social entrepreneurship in Europe. It offers innovative, up-todate research on the ecosystems of social entrepreneurship, the behavior of social entrepreneurs, their ability to produce social innovation, social capital and social inclusion, and the role of stakeholders in fostering socially oriented businesses. Moreover, it addresses the diversity of the European social enterprise sector from an evolutionary perspective, with particular reference to the rise of social entrepreneurship and the role of new-generation social entrepreneurs throughout Europe. Multidisciplinary contributions authored by experts from business and accounting, economics, and sociology serve the purpose of delivering a holistic study of social entrepreneurship, also providing the necessary data for delivering policy implications on the features of the most effective enabling social and institutional ecosystems. The broad approach, based on different theoretical frameworks and methodologies across numerous disciplines, enables the authors to tackle all of the complex research issues connected to social entrepreneurship in the region. The book builds on the results of the European Union 7FP (European Union’s Research and Innovation funding program for 2007–013)-funded “EFESEIIS – Enabling the flourishing and evolution of social entrepreneurship for innovative and inclusive societies” research project. The central theme of the book is an evolutionary perspective on the dynamics and the rise of the social enterprise in Europe. This evolutionary perspective can be used in an economic as well as a social longitudinal analysis of changing contexts and entrepreneurial practices. The evolutionary perspective will be used as a tool to account for the specificity of developmental pathways in different contexts and countries.

Current Practices In Workplace And Organizational Learning written by Bente Elkjaer and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2022-01-01 with Education categories.

The central assumption that guides this book is that research and practice about learning at the workplace has recently lost its critical edge. This book explores what has happened to workplace learning and organizational learning and studies what has replaced it. In addition, the book discusses to what extend there are reasons to revitalize it. Today, themes such as ‘innovation’, ‘co-creation’ and ‘knowledge sharing’ seem to have become preferred and referred to as theoretical fields as well as fields of practice. In several chapters of this book it is argued that the critical power of learning could be regained by starting a new discussion of how these new fields of practice can be substantiated by topics such as learning arrangements, learning mechanisms, and learning strategies. Hence, the aim of this book is to both advance and recapture our knowledge of learning in today’s increasingly complex world of work and organizing. The contributions in this work do so by revisiting classic research on workplace and organizational learning and discussing how insights from this body of literature evokes new meaning. It sets the stage for new agendas and rethinks current practices that are entangled in activities such as innovation, co-creation, knowledge sharing or other currently widespread fields of practice.

Master's Thesis from the year 2021 in the subject Business economics - Company formation, Business Plans, grade: 1,3, , language: English, abstract: The rise of Generation Z in German society will impact many companies' management levels, as young entrepreneurs will increasingly determine the German economy. Accordingly, managers and companies' demands will change, as Generation Z stands for change and social innovation and wants to realize this in the workplace and combine business with social added value. In this work, basic knowledge in Social Entrepreneurship and Generation Z will first be conveyed to name the respective success factors. In the further course, it will be made clear that German society's framework conditions and the economy have a strong influence on the fact that social enterprises' founding faces obstacles. Accordingly, an approach that enables the realization of Generation Z's professional and social goals within an employee model is essential. Due to this, further theoretical knowledge about Intrapreneurship and Social Intrapreneurship will be given in the further course of the thesis. Despite extensive research, no existing Social Intrapreneurship model can be found, which is why an existing model for innovation activities is used. A new concept for implementing Social Intrapreneurship in existing companies is developed and explained based on the knowledge gained and success factors, and areas that have not been sufficiently considered in the literature are implemented and presented. Social Intrapreneurship will meet the requirements and expectations of employees and Generation Z in the future to keep the German economy innovative and emphasize the social aspect.
