In the Twentieth Century Albert Einstein and others made some astonishing discoveries. They showed us how our universe could start with a Big Bang which seems to allow something to appear from nothing, that Space can be curved and why there may have been a time when there was no Time. If you have always been absolutely baffled by anything related to Space-time then this book is for you. My writing mission is to engage with a new audience that has no previous knowledge of science, and I go to great lengths (without any equations) to make sure that everybody can fully understand my explanations.Unfortunately, Space-time has a reputation for being difficult. The first thing I will do is show that this claim is false. In this book nothing is too hard to understand and I will also encourage you to participate in the scientific process. Don't worry, you are not going to need your own laboratory; everything can be done in the comfort of your own home with Thought Experiments.

This is the third book in my 'Absolute Beginners' series. If the scientific landscape can be compared to an Onion, in my first two books I tried to paint a picture of the outer layer (using illustrations and narrative) to explain Space-time and Quantum Physics. Readers of those books will know that I tried hard not to include equations. In this book I am going to open up the next layer of the onion. Don't worry, I am not going to start building equations but I am going to acknowledge some special ones. Most importantly, I am going to take a look at some of the graphical illustrations that describe some of solutions to those equations. This will allow us to 'see' what is really going on within nature. If you have always been absolutely baffled by anything related to physics then this book is for you. My writing mission is to engage with a new audience that has no previous knowledge of science, and I go to great lengths to make sure that everybody can fully understand my explanations.

Do you want to learn more about quantum physics but are unsure where to begin? If so, continue reading. Prepare to unlock the mysteries of the cosmos with this useful, approachable guide to quantum physics! The study of quantum physics examines the microscopic behavior of the tiniest components of matter. Predicting what we observe on a macroscopic level is a key issue in quantum physics. Utilizing quantum mechanics, which takes into account the components that are too small to quantify, this is accomplished. Every time an object interacts with another one, like when an atom or photon collides with another particle, energy is transferred from the first state to the second. Quantum energy, also known as E-Q, is the energy that is transported from a quantum's initial state to its new state. In this comprehensive manual, you'll learn: - What Exactly Are Quantum Mechanics And Quantum Physics? - How Did Quantum Physics Get its Start? - What Exactly Are Light Particles? - Fundamental Uncertainty - The Cat of Schrodinger - Waves And Quantum Possibilities - Understanding The Curve Of The Black Body With The "Dark Body" Spectrum - A Simple Introduction To String Theory For Novices - Those Dark Holes plus a lot more! You don't have to be a scientist or mathematician to understand the world of quantum physics, even if you think it's a difficult subject. By keeping complexity and math to a minimal, the astounding universal rules that govern reality are intended to be revealed to you in this book. Therefore, this book Quantum Physics for Beginners is for you; don't be afraid of complicated math! This comprehensive manual will hold your hand and make it simple for you to delve into the world of quantum physics. Your understanding of these ideas, which are difficult for regular people to comprehend, will impress your friends! Are you prepared to start exploring the world of quantum physics?

Relativity From Lorentz To Einstein written by Alberto Palazzi and has been published by GogLiB this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-01-25 with Science categories.

Everyone knows that Einstein’s special relativity contains a theory of time measurements, which are no longer conceived as absolute, but are related to the state of motion of the clock and to the point of view of the observer, and the same happens to space measurements. Everyone also knows that the theory contains the deduction that a small material mass can be converted into a huge amount of energy according to a precise quantitative relationship. But many who have tried to study the theory have failed to understand it; yet, to fully understand the part of Einstein’s theory about time and space measurements, readers just need to know what speed and square root are, and to obtain a simplified but clear idea of the part regarding the concepts of mass and energy they need just to remember elementary high-school physics. Apparently something is missing in all the many books that describe relativity in a simple or higher level. This book is written in a different way from any other. A rigorous but clear exposition will show all readers, provided they know what speed and square root are, that they can understand fully and perfectly the space-time theory and can judge it with their own intelligence. In addition, readers will have a clear idea of the equivalence between mass and energy and its logical relationship with space-time theory. This book was written for beginners and for perplexed people who have unsuccessfully attempted to study special relativity: both will understand the exact meaning of the famous and difficult essay in which Einstein expounded the theory in 1905, which is examined word by word in this book. And all readers will have a clearer idea of the relevance of relativity for the twentieth (and twenty-first) century culture.

This is a new publication of Hermann Weyl's book Space-Time-Matter, which was first published in German in 1919 and the English translation was published in 1922.What makes Weyl's book invaluable is that, in addition to his masterfully presented lectures on special and general relativity (starting with a helpful introduction to tensor analysis), he was the first (and essentially the only one so far) who tried to reconcile two seemingly unreconcilable facts - Minkowski's discovery (deduced from the failed experiments to detect absolute motion) of the spacetime structure of the world (that it is a static four-dimensional world containing en bloc the entire history of the perceived by us three-dimensional world) and the inter-subjective fact that we are aware of ourselves and the world only at one single moment of time - the present moment (the moment now) - which constantly changes. Weyl reached the conclusion that it is our consciousness (somehow "traveling" in the four-dimensional world along our worldlines) which creates our feeling that time flows. Unfortunately, Weyl's reconciliation of the above facts has not been rigorously examined so far; the apparent contradiction that the consciousness "travels" in the "frozen" four-dimensional world - spacetime - is not an excuse because Weyl had surely been aware of it and nevertheless "went public" with his proposed resolution.

Philosophy Of Physics written by Tim Maudlin and has been published by Princeton University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-05-26 with Philosophy categories.

Philosophical foundations of the physics of space-time This concise book introduces nonphysicists to the core philosophical issues surrounding the nature and structure of space and time, and is also an ideal resource for physicists interested in the conceptual foundations of space-time theory. Tim Maudlin's broad historical overview examines Aristotelian and Newtonian accounts of space and time, and traces how Galileo's conceptions of relativity and space-time led to Einstein's special and general theories of relativity. Maudlin explains special relativity with enough detail to solve concrete physical problems while presenting general relativity in more qualitative terms. Additional topics include the Twins Paradox, the physical aspects of the Lorentz-FitzGerald contraction, the constancy of the speed of light, time travel, the direction of time, and more. Introduces nonphysicists to the philosophical foundations of space-time theory Provides a broad historical overview, from Aristotle to Einstein Explains special relativity geometrically, emphasizing the intrinsic structure of space-time Covers the Twins Paradox, Galilean relativity, time travel, and more Requires only basic algebra and no formal knowledge of physics
