After Boody completed his service he went on to scriptnew stories for the comics. Sparky Watts appeared in BIG SHOT COMICS, the first issue of the shortlived series THE FACE and in ten issues of his own series.Although he never wore a costume Sparky Watts may have been the very first parody of thesuperhero genre. The stories were incredibly well drawn, dynamic and very, very funny..These stories are a product of their times and there are images and comments that some peoplemay find offensive.
