Caroline Taman only intended to go for a short hike in the mountains close to the town where she had recently moved. But when she blunders into what she assumes are drug dealers in the woods and flees from them, she is drawn into the company of a man whom she soon learns is not a man at all. Because he heard her unwittingly crying to Christ for help, he feels he can reveal what he is to her. As he helps her elude her pursuers, he tells her his name is Sylvan, and he is a spirit of the wilderness. He is also a lover of humanity beyond the capacity of a normal person as well as a devout Christian. The two of them soon learn the criminals she met have far more sinister plans than dealing drugs. They intend to sell a unique form of radioactive rock to terrorists, but they have no idea just how lethal the stones are. The criminals are soon forgotten as Caroline and Sylvan find themselves in an impossible death race to keep the radiation of the rocks from spreading through the world. Throughout their struggle, Caroline's wonder deepens as she learns more about Sylvan's love for humanity and devotion to God. It blossoms in her own soul until she can accept the hardships and danger with his inhuman tolerance. Her own deep Christian convictions grow with it, and she abandons her life to their struggle.

Spirit Of Eden written by Tim Smit and has been published by Bantam Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2001 with Closed ecological systems categories.

The inspiring story of how the Eden Project was conceived and built, by Tim Smit, its creator. “We live in times of great change and big concerns and most of us feel small in the face of what might lie in store. “With passion and commitment, thousands of ‘small’ people built Eden as a symbol of hope in action. “We may all have feet of clay, but that shouldn’t stop us trying to make a difference. Wouldn’t we all rather look back and say, ‘I’m glad I did,’ rather than ‘I wish I had?’ ” “Some might smile at the naivety of such ambition, believing it to be impossible. We say, ‘Demand the impossible’.” -- Tim Smit The impossible has been delivered: a living theatre of plants and people and their interdependence, housed in a disused china clay pit and featuring the world’s largest greenhouses. Well over a million visitors have made their way to Eden, drawn by the astonishing, visionary ambition of its founders. Now, in this beautiful book, Tim Smit tells the story of the Eden Project: its genesis in the Lost Gardens of Heligan, its design and construction against all the odds, its supremely talented team of larger-than-life personalities. Above all, he tells how the energy that brought the vision to life is being applied to possible futures. It is a vision for all to share.

The Spirit Of Atonement written by Steven M. Studebaker and has been published by Bloomsbury Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-01-14 with Religion categories.

Steven M. Studebaker proposes a Pentecostal approach to a major Christian doctrine, the atonement. The book moves Pentecostal theology of the atonement from a primarily Christocentric and crucicentric register to one that articulates the pneumatological and holistic nature of Pentecostal praxis. Studebaker examines the irony of Classical Pentecostalism relying on the Christocentrism of Protestantism evangelical atonement theology to articulate its experience of the Holy Spirit, as well as the Pneumatological nature of Pentecostal praxis. He then develops a Pentecostal theology of atonement based on the biblical narrative of the Spirit of Pentecost and returns to re-imagine an expanded vision of Pentecostal praxis based on the theological formation of the biblical narrative. The result is a Pentecostal atonement theology that shows the integrated nature of pneumatology, creation and Christology in the biblical narrative of redemption. It gives theological expression to not only the pneumatological nature of Pentecostal praxis, but also the fundamental role of the Holy Spirit in the biblical narrative of redemption. The book challenges popular western atonement theologies to re-think their Christocentrism and crucicentrism as well as their atomistic tendency to separate soteriology into objective (Christological) and subjective (pneumatolgical) categories.

Islam written by Uche Ephraim Chuku and has been published by iUniverse this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-05 with Religion categories.

As the third of Yahweh/Allah's personal religious regiments, Islam inherited a lack of knowledge, of falsehood, and all the phony legacies of Judaism and Christianity. This has led to the spiritual enslavement of Muslims. In this controversial religious treatise, author Uche E. Chuku argues that Muslims have not only voluntarily surrendered to the enslaving will of Yahweh/Allah, but also find special pride in eternal spiritual enslavement. They believe that being a slave of Allah is the proudest rank the Muslim can claim. Islam: Total Blind Surrender to the Will of the Antichrist: Religion without Reason, Book 4 informs and calls Muslims' attention to the gospel truth: Muhammad was a captive, not a voluntary slave of Allah. Chuku also contends that since Yahweh offers nothing but divine enslavement to his Muslim victims, his will contradicts humankind's collective quest for total physical and spiritual liberation and directly opposes the will of the true God, our heavenly Father. Chuku shows how voluntary surrender to divine enslavement is the worst kind of spiritual serfdom-unprecedented in the history of human religion-and reminds Muslims that they can safely say no to divine enslavement today.

My Little Garden Of Eden written by Junior Mendez, PhD and has been published by AuthorHouse this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010-05 with Biography & Autobiography categories.

Some may read this book and find it straightforward and easy to comprehend, others may read this book with much incredulity and disbelief. This book, "My Little Garden of Eden" was written to enlighten my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, you're my family and friends; we are all sons and daughters of the Most High; this book is for you. It is better to believe and have faith in something, rather than not believe and have faith in nothing. In writing this book, My Little Garden of Eden, Junior Mendez ingeniously distinguishes between his human nature and the nature of his spirit. This book is a twofold autobiography of the spirit man and the fleshly man, one walked by faith and the other walked by sight. The internal spirit nature seeks after love, peace, and service to others, while human nature lust after beauty, pleasure, and material wealth. Through faith and his intellectual awareness of a higher power, Junior Mendez became convinced that the spiritual mind is far superior to the carnal mind. The mind is spiritual, divine and freewill, the mind is susceptible to the influence of spiritual forces. The brain regulates the biological functions of the body, it process complicated emotions, feelings, images and a multiplicity of information simultaneously. The mind conscieve thoughts and immaginations to vision and reason within our faith after hearing or reading the Word of the Sacred Scriptures. Faith brings hopes and dreams of a brighter future. Eeach of us shall experience the end of life in the flesh, but through faith my spirit shall be a child in the kingdom of God. Unlike the brain, the mind is unseen, it cannot be touch or seen by human. Spiritual forces of the natural and supernatural world discreetly influence the conscious and subsconcious mind.
