The prophetic clock is ticking. We are living in tumultuous times. From corrupt world politics to global pandemics to an unprecedented rebellion against God and His Word, humanity has reached a critical stage. What happens next? In this eye-opening book, Jimmy Evans examines biblical prophecies about the end times and points to their unmistakable parallels with today’s world. With clear, insightful analysis of Scripture, he answers many common questions, such as: • Are we living in the end times? • How should Believers respond to increasing immorality? • Will Christians go through the Tribulation? • What role does Israel play in God’s prophetic plan? • Are COVID-19 and other world events announcing the imminent return of Jesus? Ultimately, Tipping Point will help you understand current events with confidence. There is no going back, but hope and peace are possible as God’s plan unfolds and we approach the end of the age. Jimmy Evans is senior pastor of Gateway Church in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and holds an honorary doctorate of literature from The King’s University. In addition to authoring more than seventeen books, Jimmy has studied eschatology for more than 45 years and is passionate about helping believers find hope, peace, and encouragement in the Word of God.

Have you ever despaired about the state of the world? In this book I invite you to accompany me on my personal journey to understand the human condition and to find some remedy to the debacle we have made of being the premier species. Each chapter begins with an event in my life. One's life can be seen as an allegory, each incident becoming a stimulus for discovering a deeper implication underlying it. My experience at Dacchau for instance led me to conclude that our planet at Tipping Point indicates the distance of mankind from his Soul. Mankind's history of cruelty, discrimination, exploitation and hunger for power is the result of a presiding level of consciousness which holds behaviour within the bounds of lower energies such as greed, hatred, prejudice, delusion, and fear. Dominance and control, based on the false premise of our entitlement and superiority, is unacceptable, unjustifiable and unsustainable for our fragile planet. My quest has led me to see that the world's current problem is fundamentally a spiritual one created by the limited perspective of human beings - a loss of a sense of tolerance toward one another, a loss of cooperation and community, and most deeply a loss of connection to our moral, ethical and spiritual values. A Turning Point will occur when we attune to heart frequencies which circumvent the destructive impulses of the lower energies and attune with the more compassionate, inter-relating higher frequencies. The heart moves us from a controller mentality toward one conscious of the collective whole in an interconnected world. My experiences with animals and nature led me to conclude that the heart's higher level of consciousness brings a oneness with life, a recognition of animals as sentient, sensitive beings and a forest as a giver of life. By embodying the higher heart frequencies we transform ourselves into caretakers rather than exploiters of the earth and all its inhabitants. We have it within our power to turn a Tipping point into a Turning point in the evolution of our planet.

What is the turning point that causes a curious journalist and atheist to walk into a church and be converted to Christ the first time she takes communion? At what point is a lifelong atheist and head of one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs of the twentieth century persuaded to turn to Christ? What leads a woman, who had a Mafia contract on her life and who appeared on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list, to become a Christian in prison and then start a national outreach ministry that has touched the lives of thousands of children? What is that moment at which God's disruptive Spirit invades the lives of even the unlikeliest of individuals, drawing them into relationship with Christ? Joseph Bentz calls this the tipping point. In God in Pursuit, Bentz identifies and celebrates the sparks that allow faith to catch fire in the lives of new believers who were once hostile or indifferent to God. Filled with insight, encouragement, and solid biblical wisdom, this earnest examination shows readers how those tipping points from doubt to faith operate throughout the Christian life as they confront spiritual crises and grapple with questions that will bring them deeper into relationship with God.

Addressing Tipping Points For A Precarious Future written by Timothy O'Riordan and has been published by Oxford University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-08-22 with Business & Economics categories.

Tipping points are zones or thresholds of profound changes in natural or social conditions with very considerable and largely unforecastable consequences. Tipping points may be dangerous for societies and economies, especially if the prevailing governing arrangements are not designed either to anticipate them or adapt to their arrival. Tipping points can also be transformational of cultures and behaviours so that societies can learn to adapt and to alter their outlooks and mores in favour of accommodating to more sustainable ways of living. This volume examines scientific, economic and social analyses of tipping points, and the spiritual and creative approaches to identifying and anticipating them. The authors focus on climate change, ice melt, tropical forest drying and alterations in oceanic and atmospheric circulations. They also look closely at various aspects of human use of the planet, especially food production, and at the loss of biodiversity, where alterations to natural cycles may be creating convulsive couplings of tipping points. They survey the various institutional aspects of politics, economics, culture and religion to see why such dangers persist.

The One written by Keith Loy and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010-10-26 with categories.

This book is a combined and updated edition of Keith Loy's previous two books 'Finding Reality' & 'The Awakening of Spiritual Awareness'. He herein draws from his own life experience, as he delves psychologically into the mind of the average spiritual seeker, uncovering reasons why one might remain as a seeker and not a finder. He untangles the philosophies surrounding spiritual awakening, leading the reader beyond belief and philosophy in all respects, in order to uncover the awakening of spiritual awareness, right here, right now. He demystifies spiritual awakening, so it can finally be accessible to all of those who truly desire it. Keith has written this book for those who have grown weary of seeking and not finding, and for those who have finally reached a tipping point in their spiritual search, and now feel ready to end the search, in favor of awakening with ease to their present Reality. IN HIS OWN WORDS: - Awakening is nothing more than a clear seeing of all that we are not, and a direct realization of what we truly are. It is a clear seeing of life as it is. It is a pure awareness that we are One thing appearing as everything. If we could only give up searching for the extraordinary; for the weird, the wonderful and the mysterious. If we could only come to our senses, attentive to the present, uniting our attention with life just as it is; then we would find much to our surprise, that the mystery which we have been seeking for all along - will no longer be a mystery!

Spiritual Ecology written by Chief Oren Lyons and has been published by The Golden Sufi Center this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-09-01 with Religion categories.

The Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh was asked what we need to do to save our world. "What we most need to do," he replied, "is to hear within us the sound of the earth crying.” Our present ecological crisis is the greatest man-made disaster this planet has ever faced—its accelerating climate change, species depletion, pollution and acidification of the oceans. A central but rarely addressed aspect of this crisis is our forgetfulness of the sacred nature of creation, and how this affects our relationship to the environment. There is a pressing need to articulate a spiritual response to this ecological crisis. This is vital and necessary if we are to help bring the world as a living whole back into balance. The first edition of this book (published in 2013) fostered the emergence of the "Spiritual Ecology Movement," which recognizes the need for a spiritual response to our present ecological crisis. It drew an overwhelmingly positive response from readers, many of whom are asking the simple question, "What can I do?" The 2016 expanded edition offers new chapters, including two from younger authors who are putting the principles of spiritual ecology into action, working with their hands as well as their hearts. It also includes a new preface and revised chapter by Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, that reference two major recent events: the publication of Pope Francis's encyclical, "On Care for Our Common Home," which brought into the mainstream the idea that "the ecological crisis is essentially a spiritual problem"; and the 2015 Paris Climate Change Conference, which saw representatives from nearly 200 countries come together to address global warming, including faith leaders from many traditions. And, in Autumn 2021, we have issued a new edition, with a new updated preface from editor Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, who has also rewritten his chapter, “The Call of the Earth.” Bringing together voices from Buddhism, Sufism, Christianity, and Native American traditions, as well as from physics, deep psychology, and other environmental disciplines, this book calls on us to reassess our underlying attitudes and beliefs about the Earth and wake up to our spiritual as well as physical responsibilities toward the planet. "It's hard to imagine finding a wiser group of humans than the authors represented here, all of them both thinkers and do-ers in the greatest battle humans have ever faced. AN EPIC COLLECTION!" —BILL MCKIBBEN, founder 350.org Spiritual Ecology is a superb collection of thoughtful pieces by people who have gone deep to understand our relations with the Earth. It comes at a crucial time for humanity." —BARRY LOPEZ, landscape photographer and author Arctic Dreams (winner National Book Award), Of Wolves and Men, Crossing Open Ground, About This Life "THIS BOOK PROVIDES FRESH THINKING about the spiritual approaches of consciously and consistently making the right choices, each of us within our respective sphere of influence. As the world works towards a new global climate agreement in 2015, it is in our interest and in the interest of future generations to reflect on how we can individually and collectively contribute to addressing climate change by making our economies and lifestyles more sustainable, because solving climate change can help solve many of the issues the earth currently faces. Climate change is therefore both a challenge and an opportunity. I hope this book inspires and energizes many readers eager to rise to the greatest challenge ever to face humanity by realizing the transformative opportunities we have in front of us." —CHRISTIANA FIGUERES, Former Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)
