Späße mit den Klassenkammeraden oder aber - nicht weniger oft - mit und über die Lehrer sind den meisten sicherlich noch im Gedächtnis geblieben. Doch eben diese sind es, die die Hauptfigur aus Die Feuerzangenbowle (1944, Regie: Helmut Weiß), aufgrund von häuslichem Privatunterricht, nicht erlebt hat und sich deshalb auf eine Entdeckungsreise seiner nie erlebten Schulzeit begibt. Heinz Rühmann, der in diesem Film die Rolle des erfolgreichen Schriftstellers Pfeiffer und gleichzeitig die des gleichnamigen Pennälers übernimmt, währte als Langzeitstar über Jahrzehnte hinweg. In der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus avancierte er zum Filmstar, wobei Die Feuerzangenbowle dabei schon einer seiner späteren Filme war. In diesen Jahren entstand seine noch weit über das Ende des Dritten Reiches anhaltende Beliebtheit. Maßgeblich für diese besondere Beliebtheit war sein Star-Image, das in dieser Hausarbeit näher beleuchtet werden soll. Wie hat Heinz Rühmann damals auf seine Zuschauer gewirkt? Welche spezifischen Charakterzüge machen die Figuren Rühmanns aus? Und welches Geheimnis steckt hinter der Beliebtheit seiner Filme, die Scharen von Zuschauern in Kinos lockte? Um dies herauszufinden soll im Rahmen dieser Hausarbeit, unter dem Thema "Heinz Rühmann im Nationalsozialismus - Sein Star-Image anhand von Die Feuerzangenbowle", sein Image zur Zeit des Dritten Reiches genauer untersucht werden.
