Classe 1968, nata a Milano ma ligure di adozione, Camilla Ferroni vive in provincia di Genova, dove lavora. Appassionata fin da bambina di lettura e scrittura, ama dedicarvi il tempo libero dagli impegni professionali. Dopo un diploma di liceo linguistico e una laurea in lingue, nel 2014 corona un sogno: frequenta il liceo artistico, consegue il diploma in Arti Visive e continua a studiare pittura. Accanita divoratrice di libri, incantata dalla magia della parola scritta che apre la mente e regala emozioni e ali per volare lontano, dal rifugio della sua casa affacciata sul mare ha deciso di tradurre sulla carta i sogni, e gli incubi, che ha in testa. Il suo romanzo Semi di Guerriglia ha vinto un premio speciale al Premio Franco Delpino. Nel 2020 ha pubblicato L'ultima Consegna, romanzo finalista al Premio Odissea 2019 (Delos Digital).
