Länder - Zeitalter Weltkriege, Note: 1, Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz (Geschichte), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Mittelpunkt meiner Proseminararbeit wird die analytische Betrachtung des Erfolges der Propaganda Hitlers durch die Symbolik im Nationalsozialismus stehen, um so zu zeigen, wie das Leben der Menschen, und damit verbunden auch die gesamte Gesellschaft und Öffentlichkeit, durch verschiedene Formen von Symbolik beeinflusst werden konnten. Es wird versucht folgende Forschungsfrage zu beantworten: Wie gelingt es dem NS-Regime mit bestimmten Inszenierungen und Symbolik in ihrer Propaganda die Massen zu manipulieren und so an die Macht zu kommen? Den Aspekt ihrer besonderen Wirkung auf die Menschen, werde ich zunächst versuchen anhand der verschiedenen Arten und Methoden von Symbolen, welche von den Nationalsozialisten raffiniert präsentiert wurden, zu benennen und schließlich zu bewerten. Da visuellen Symbole, wie das Hakenkreuz, auch heute noch die bekannteste Konnotation zur damaligen Zeit darstellen, werde ich diesen besondere Beachtung schenken und hierbei auch gleichzeitig das Thema der Gegenpole Hakenkreuz und Judenstern aufgreifen und analysieren.
