Der dritte Band der Unterreihe "Türkische Beiträge zur DDR-Literatur" enthält sieben Beiträge, die verschiedene Aspekte der DDR-Literatur beleuchten. Vier davon beschäftigen sich mit den Werken von Autorinnen und Autoren, die sich mit dem Alltags- und Arbeitsleben sowie den Konflikten in der DDR auseinandergesetzt haben - Christoph Hein, Christa Wolf, Hans Joachim Schädlich und Jurek Becker. Zusätzlich werden zwei Beiträge den Übersetzungen von Werken aus der DDR-Literatur ins Türkische gewidmet. Hier wird die Bedeutung der Übersetzung als Mittel des kulturellen Austauschs und der Verbreitung der DDR-Literatur in der türkischen Germanistik hervorgehoben. Ein weiterer Beitrag skizziert die Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands und ihre Rezeption in der Türkei. Hierbei wird der Blick auf die Auswirkungen und das Interesse an diesem historischen Ereignis in der türkischen Literatur und Gesellschaft gerichtet. Dieser Band bietet somit eine breite Palette an Analysen und Betrachtungen zur DDR-Literatur aus türkischer Perspektive und trägt zur interkulturellen Erforschung und Verständigung zwischen Deutschland und der Türkei bei.

Ein anderer Beitrag bespricht ein Theaterstück von Hasan Savas Miçan, das die Auswirkungen des Mauerfalls und der Wiedervereinigung auf Bürger mit Migrationshintergrund beschreibt.
