This first installment isn't the first chronologically, but since the craze is all about prequils and sequils these days, i know that it wont be an issue. This chapter deals with one of the seven figures important to the book and also deals with the mystical isle of avalon... An enchanted isle that appears in King Arthur legends and has a lot of fun imagination to control in an adventure saga. I hope you enjoy this installment and look for my other novels in the near future here on booktango. There is several more in the works and there will be a grand total of 22 before they are all finished. So please sit back and enjoy the swords and battles and epoc of my version of the fabled world of AVALON.

This book is the first full-length study of the birth of the Palestinian refugee problem. Based on recently declassified Israeli, British and American state and party political papers and on hitherto untapped private papers, it traces the stages of the 1947-9 exodus against the backdrop of the first Arab-Israeli war and analyses the varied causes of the flight. The Jewish and Arab decision-making involved, on national and local levels, military and political, is described and explained, as is the crystallisation of Israel's decision to bar a refugee repatriation. The subsequent fate of the abandoned Arab villages, lands and urban neighbourhoods is examined. The study looks at the international context of the war and the exodus, and describes the political battle over the refugees' fate, which effectively ended with the deadlock at Lausanne in summer 1949. Throughout the book attempts to describe what happened rather than what successive generations of Israeli and Arab propagandists have said happened, and to explain the motives of the protagonists.

Imperial Cults And The Apocalypse Of John written by Steven J. Friesen and has been published by Oxford University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2001-10-25 with History categories.

After more than a century of debate about the significance of imperial cults for the interpretation of Revelation, this is the first study to examine both the archaeological evidence and the Biblical text in depth. Friesen argues that a detailed analysis of imperial cults as they were practiced in the first century CE in the region where John was active allows us to understand John's criticism of his society's dominant values. He demonstrates the importance of imperial cults for society at the time when Revelation was written, and shows the ways in which John refuted imperial cosmology through his use of vision, myth, and eschatological expectation.

The X Rated Bible written by Ben Edward Akerley and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1985 with Bible categories.

Incest, rape, adultery, exhibitionism, prostitution, homosexuality, abortion, mate swapping, bestiality -- it's all there in the book held sacred by three of the world's major religions. Originally published to reveal the hypocrisy of fundamentalists' attempts to censor and suppress the kind of material found throughout their own scriptures, The X-Rated Bible quickly became the American Atheist Press's most notorious and best-selling book. It garnered media attention due to its title, subject matter (with chapters like "Lot Knocks Up Both His Daughters," and "Noah Gets Drunk and Exposes Himself"), and association with publisher Madalyn Murray O'Hair, famous atheist and publicity hound. This redesigned, corrected, and expanded edition will reintroduce the controversial publication that unblushingly confronts the dirty parts of the Holy Bible.
