I have merely collected those which in my humble opinion were the most interesting and were more available. I am one of those who think the Eastern Shore of Maryland the "Garden Spot" of the World - have been taught that from the cradle up. Many of the tales told here are some we have heard since childhood, and as this is an inquiring age, in recent years I have looked into them a little to ascertain just how much was fiction and how much was truth.
