Tamar, an undercover agent, was given a task by Mari, the CHAIR. She was to take a team of a dozen and retrieve a witness or witnesses from a specific planet. It was dangerous as someone was trying to control not only that planet but the rest of the universe. They used a Courier Ship to make the trip and knew that trouble was ahead as soon as they landed as their ship had watchers and any who departed it had to move as a group. Three large tubs of black dirt were waiting for access to deliver. In each container was a flask and a lid covered all. Tamar and Dante were told to go to the park level of the space station, to meet those they were to take back. The man who led the underground on the planet set up the meeting and directed his observers to get to the station which required days of running. A Gentman brought backpacks for those going, and each had an identical list of contents. Those to report were attacked and threatened. It was necessary for Tamar and team to secure everyone for they expected someone would come to inspect their ship.

Diedra has a full life that often intersects with the lives of three other women: Breanna, the free and flirtatious spirit; Cassandra, Diedra's childhood friend; and Sharnell, the overachiever. And when Diedra's brood grows to seven after the birth of triplets, she thinks that surely her saga is fully written. On top of it all-she's pregnant again. More than a Christian romance, Dreams of Tamar weaves together relevant scripture and riveting storytelling and will resonate with believers of today who have real problems that require real solutions. Tamar Finegold is twenty-one years old, the happy, beautiful bride of a rising young Rabbi in one of Brooklyn's insulated, ultra-Orthodox Jewish communities. Having married the man of her dreams and taken her place as a wife—and hopefully soon-to-be mother—in her community, Tamar feels as though the world is at her feet. But her secure, predictable existence is brought to an abrupt end when she is raped by an intruder. Fearing the unbearable stigma and threat to her marriage that could result from telling the truth, Tamar makes a fateful decision that changes her life forever. Her feeling that she did the only thing she could under the circumstances explodes when years later a shocking, undreamed of turn of events finally forces her to confront her past, once and for all

Angie Hager’s path in life was not unfurling as she anticipated. Her womb was devoid of the babies she so desperately wanted to bring into the world. As she suffered in silence, she slowly began to realize that God had a plan for her life. But before his plan could take place, she first needed to learn lessons about herself, her marriage, and most importantly, how to rely on God through all circumstances. In a collection of heartfelt devotions, Hager shares personal stories, scripture, and reflective questions that demonstrate exactly how God is in control of every circumstance in our lives—including infertility. Her devotionals address the emotions that surround infertility such as jealousy, guilt, grief, and shame; the strain that infertility places on a marriage; our instinct to focus on what we don’t have instead of what we do; and our ability to find gratitude for all our blessings, even when they are not what we imagined them to be. Through it all, Hager reminds women that through prayer and faith, it is possible to strengthen their walk with Christ, even during such challenging times. Tamar’s Desire shares fifty-plus Christian devotions that offer hope, encouragement, and healing to those suffering from infertility.

NAACP nominee and USA Today bestselling author Beverly Jenkins continues her beloved Blessings series with a heartwarming novel about what really makes a family. There’s never a dull day in Henry Adams, Kansas. Tamar July has never had a great relationship with certain members of her family. In fact, she’d characterize it as a “hate/hate relationship.” But when her cousin calls her with the news that she’s dying and wants Tamar to plan the funeral, she’s shocked but is willing to drop everything for her. After a horrendous storm, Gemma finds a young boy and his little sister walking on the side of the road. She takes them in, and quickly falls in love with the orphaned siblings. But when Gemma contacts Social Services to try to become their foster mother, she’s told a white woman cannot foster African-American children. In the midst of these trials, Jack and Rocky are trying to plan their wedding. The entire town comes together to lend a helping hand. Though the residents of Henry Adams face seemingly insurmountable obstacles, each of them will discover that family comes in many forms, especially during the most trying of times.

The Israeli Peace Movement written by Tamar S. Hermann and has been published by Cambridge University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-09-14 with Political Science categories.

This book discusses the predicament of the Israeli peace movement, which, paradoxically, following the launching of the Oslo peace process between Israel and the Palestinians in 1993, experienced a prolonged, fatal decline in membership, activity, political significance, and media visibility. After presenting the regional and national background to the launching of the peace process and a short history of Israeli peace activism, the book focuses on external and internal processes and interactions experienced by the peace movement, after some basic postulates of its agenda were actually, although never explicitly, embraced by the Rabin government. The book concludes that, despite its organizational decline and the zero credit given to it by the policy makers, in retrospect it appears that the movement contributed significantly to the integration of new ideas for possible solutions to the Middle East conflict in the Israeli mainstream political discourse.

The Lord Of The Dreams written by Ron Pirson and has been published by Bloomsbury Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2003-04-01 with Religion categories.

A fascinating and highly original new look at the Joseph-narrative which relies a good deal on syntactic and semantic analyses. Pirson shows that there are many elements in this story that provoke a significantly different reading of the story of Joseph and his brothers, especially when these are combined with some textual aspects previously unnoticed or neglected. Special attention is given to the meaning of Joseph's dreams, to the question of who actually sold Joseph, and to the brothers' role in the narrative. Pirson also asks why Joseph did not call home after his release from prison, and-the most important question-why did Joseph, who was Jacob's favourite son, disappear from the biblical history of Israel?

Sibling Relations And The Horizontal Axis In Theory And Practice written by Smadar Ashuach and has been published by Taylor & Francis this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2022-06-30 with Psychology categories.

This book explores the interpersonal world of sibling relationships, explaining how these relationships are central to the development of the psyche of the individual, of the group, of society and of the organisation. Sibling Relations and the Horizontal Axis in Theory and Practice considers four key areas: sibling relations, sibling trauma, the law of the mother and the horizontal axis. The contributors journey through examples from the psychological, philosophical, organisational, social and cultural realms, giving a new perspective on the psychic world and the importance of sibling relationships as an empowering and therapeutic component for building relationships. While we are used to looking at the individual, the group and at society through the vertical, hierarchical relationship that results from parent–child relationships, this book discusses and reveals the impact of the horizontal axis. Sibling Relations and the Horizontal Axis in Theory and Practice will be important reading for psychoanalysts, group analysts and psychoanalytic psychotherapists in practice and in training.
