Florecieron, es verdad, despues de aquel ingenio, don Antonio Zamora y don Jose de Canizares, pero sus esfuerzos por reanimar la amortiguada escena nacional fueron vanos es una ley de la naturaleza que todo lo que ha existido, perezca, y el antiguo teatro espanol sufrio la ley comun.
