1. Se dedica todo el capítulo al tema de la resistencia eléctrica; concepto de resistividad, cálculos prácticos de resistividad en conductores, densidad de corriente, fusibles, variación de la resistencia con la temperatura, conductancia, la resistencia como componente eléctrico-electrónico, montajes serie-paralelo, etcétera. 4. Se introduce la ley de Ohm, que es la base del análisis y cálculo de los circuitos eléctricos. Se explica el concepto de caída de tensión y se hacen diversos ejercicios de aplicación de la ley de Ohm. 5. Se explican y aplican, mediante diversos ejercicios, los métodos de análisis y cálculo de circuitos más importantes en electricidad y electrónica: Kirchhoff, Maxwell, Thévenin y Millman. Se expone el desarrollo de diversos ejercicios de ejemplo. 6. Se basa en el tema de la potencia eléctrica. Se explican y se hacen diversos ejercicios prácticos sobre potencia, efectos caloríficos de la corriente (ley de Joule), consumo de energía.
