The Upanishads are a group of texts in Hindu sacred literature that are considered to reveal the ultimate truth and whose knowledge is considered to lead to spiritual emancipation. Vedas are one of the biggest milestones in the 10,000 year history of ancient India. India has a recorded historical continuity of thousands of years in the form of Epics, Vedas, Puranas, Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads etc. One of the greatest milestones is the Upanishads. There are four Vedas which are Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Sama Veda and Atharva Veda. These four Vedas has 1180 branches. Historical researchers discovered more than 200 Upanishads as of now. Among these, around 108 Upanishads are available in printed form nowadays. Sree Shankara Bhagavadpada who is known as Adi Shankaracharya coined the most important aspects needed for humans and created 10 Upanishads. These 10 Upanishads are considered as the most important Upanishads.
