Esta investigación es un estudio exegético de naturaleza bibliográfica, cuyo análisis principal se concentra en la fuente primaria del Texto Masorético tal como aparece en la biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia. Además, se consultan diversas obras (comentarios bíblicos y artículos académicos) publicadas después de la propuesta de Hermann Gunkel (1922) cobre los Salmos. Sin embargo, este trabajo no sigue los paradigmas establecidos por el pensamiento crítico filosófico de estos autores. El estudio empieza con la investigación de las imágenes poéticas sobre el juicio escatológico en los Salmos 75,76 y 82. Estas son analizadas literaria y contextualmente en el salterio y a los largo de todas las Sagradas Escritura con el propósito de comprender su correcto significado y su relación con la escatología del AT. Luego, se analiza exegéticamente los Salmos 75, 76 y 82 con el fin de comprender mejor el significado teológico de cada uno de ellos. Para ello, se sigue los principios del método gramático-histórico de interpretación. La exégesis abarca las áreas básicas de: análisis del texto (evaluación de las variantes a través de la crítica textual, aspectos gramaticales, sintaxis y traducción); el análisis del contexto literario del texto (colometría, estructura y aspectos formales como: paralelismos, repeticiones e imágenes); análisis del contexto histórico y la teología del texto (significado original y sus interpretaciones actuales). Finalmente, los conceptos resultantes han sido sintetizados y articulados para establecer una teología bíblica sobre el juicio divino en los Salmos 75, 76 y 82 y al mismo tiempo se busca establecer sus implicaciones en referencia a la escatología del Antiguo Testamento. Asimismo, el motivo del juicio es desarrollado siguiendo particularmente las expresiones e imágenes que unifican a los tres Salmos conceptual y teológicamente.
