Intellectual integrity and a challenge to rhetoric are the two strategic objectives of those who take up the hazardous path of sociological knowledge. This book does not presume to respond fully, but at least attempts to target these aims. La giustizia minorile ha avuto una lunga e faticosa evoluzione, nonostante si possa dire che le istituzioni abbiano dimostrato la volontà di base di affrontare il tema della Giustizia in ambito minorile, i tentativi di normare la disciplina si sono dimostrati inadeguati e frammentari. In passato, il trattamento riservato ai minorenni che turbavano la pacifica convivenza sociale, i cosiddetti discoli, disadattati, vagabondi, o semplicemente troppo vivaci, era molto simile a quello riservato agli adulti criminali. In questo lavoro, vengono sottolineate ed approfondite le norme principali, che hanno portato nel corso del tempo all’attuale assetto normativo. Anna Maria Niro, assistente sociale iscritta all'Albo B del Lazio ed educatrice professionale. Ha lavorato per alcuni anni come Tutor nell'inserimento sociale di giovani a rischio e come assistente sociale in ambito psichiatrico. Ha conseguito un Master in intervento intrafamiliare educativo-criminologico per l'infanzia e l'adolescenza ed attualmente è iscritta al corso di laurea Magistrale in Management delle politiche e dei servizi sociali presso Roma TRE.

Ne sono artefici e paladini soprattutto le generazioni più giovani, i cosiddetti nativi digitali. Il fenomeno è complesso e complicato; quasi inafferrabile perché continuamente mutevole nelle forme espressive e cangiante nelle modalità del suo stesso manifestarsi. Per conoscerlo fino in fondo e per scovarne gli aspetti più reconditi, è necessario procedere ad un’indagine a tutto tondo, senza pregiudizi od orientamenti ideologici precostituiti. D’altronde, interrogarsi sugli attuali processi comunicativi, significa soprattutto interrogarsi sulla condizione esistenziale dell’uomo nella post-modernità.
