I had every season of my life planned out after finding the love of my life. From the wedding, my stepdaughter and our perfect lifestyle to the happily ever after I just knew I was heading in the right direction. Then, life happened, or should I say ended. It's hard to walk in a life of mess after thoughtfully planning out every season to be in perfection. It's even harder coming to the reality that life will never the be same! Stuck in silence, I lost all of myself and my way. Hate, pain and defeat took the place of my happiness and I had no voice to cry out for help. What does one do when you've lost the word and trapped in your own silence?

"Testimony of Life's Journey: Breaking the Silence," is a short story of real-life facts. Every day a detrimental crime is committed and is often thrown into the unknown. My works of art are designed to show, that no matter what we do, there is a consequence that follows disobedient behavior. Then there is another side as well, which conquers the negativity into a brighter positive light. Some Individuals lack spiritual beliefs and is not connected with the power source of our life. God the Father created each of us and we must understand, our lives would be divinely fulfilled if his principles are followed. We think we don't have to listen to any of his commands, but that is far from the truth. When we're drowning in overbearing detriments, our psychological abilities are weakened. Once we realize God has the power to change our wrongdoings, from bad to good, we blossom like a flower. We must also realize, with a blink of an eye, any unwise decision, could reverse the good deed, back to bad. Continuous behavior will cause a domino chain reaction; not good. When we become an obedient follower, we are no longer imprisoned within our mind, body and spiritual soul; we gain strength. We must trust in the Lord with all our hearts, and lean not to our understanding, but acknowledge him, and he will direct our path. Our pain that we manifest, will reverse, into purpose. Many of us have abused either our children, our mates, and our negative worldly habits. Until we get an understanding, that disobedient behavior is abnormal and is not favored by God, the cycle will continue. I was abused as a child, by adults with undesirable disobedient characteristics. In my teen years, I gained confidence and felt, I could protect myself against any negativity that came my way. I decided not to walk with my head down anymore, but prayed to God and asked for help. I needed the wisdom and understanding, of how not to get in trouble. In my mind, I wanted to get revenge on anyone that stepped upon me, negatively. Often, we don't think about the things we say and do, but the smallest actions could cause the biggest problems. We overlook defiled behavior until we lose control, then we want to cry and plead insanity. Abuse is a major offense, it comes in many forms: physical, sexual, mental, emotional, and many more. My question, "why would a parent that birthed a child, and supposed to love them, embarrass them in front of others? Why would an adult exercise their unethical character, by belittling others, especially children?" It's hurtful and degrading when the cruelty is being admonished by the person you live with. Beware, because they could be hiding behind a mask.

Silence Of The Tongue written by Eric Zeidler and has been published by Glory Cloud Publications LLC this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-06-20 with categories.

Keeping a preacher quiet is like stealing a painter's brushes. Although his tools may be gone, he still finds a way to release the passion within. Satan tried to steal Pastor Eric Zeidler's tongue, with the purpose of stopping God's voice from being heard through his mouth. But through Jesus Christ, Pastor Eric found a way. And that way was being healed by the very Lord he preaches to others about. His journey takes him from the trial of tongue cancer and the related surgeries to the emotional challenges he faced going through. Now while pastoring a church in his childhood town, he engages the airwaves through his own television and radio network-CTF-TV. His message is strong and challenging as he encourages others in a walk of faith, Christian unity, and dedication to God. His voice is not confined to the converted municipal library, where patrons were once reminded to be quiet as they learned, but he leads his congregation to put their arms to their mouth and take the message to the community and the world.

Shapes Of Silence written by Proma Tagore and has been published by McGill-Queen's Press - MQUP this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009 with Literary Criticism categories.

The Shapes of Silence examines fiction, memoir, and autobiographical writing by marginalized women whose stories give voice to the gendered dimensions of colonial violence. Drawing from the insights of subaltern studies and postcolonial feminisms, Proma Tagore brings together the work of a diverse group of writers - Toni Morrison, Shani Mootoo, Louise Erdrich, M.K. Indira, Rashsundari Debi, and Mahasweta Devi. She focuses on the visceral, affective nature of their narratives and explores the way that personal and historical trauma, initially silenced, may be recorded across generations, as well as across complex national, racial, gender, and sexual lines. In emphasizing situations that cannot be summed up by clearly nameable, bounded moments of trauma, The Shapes of Silence identifies important shifts in how testimonial literature is theorized, arguing for an understanding of writing and storytelling by women of colour as crucial counter-narratives to what official colonial historicizing has left out.
