They Came They Saw - Book # 1 - War rages in the far reaches of space. Two advance civilizations. The Kinsu and the Celiferberite have vowed to destroy each other. In the mist of their war an accident on the third planet in the Zeusian System, brings it to the attention of Acr'ditmt'd - Kinsu Imperial Overlord. He dispatches a scouting party to that planet to see if the dominate species, is a worthy species, and to find the source of the energy swallowing wave. At about the same time in another part of what is a vast battle field a small expeditionary fleet, the Kazinazils, stumbles right into the middle of one of the battles between the Kinsus and the Celiferberites. Believing they can simply ask permission to pass, and by stating they do not wish to take sides, they make they attempt to go through the battle field. Because they first tried to sneak a probe through, which was detected or more likely because neither side of the groups already at war, is of a trusting nature. Alas even though the small contingent of ships is readily identified to be mainly a benign contingent of scientific travelers. When their probe is detected they are challenged anyway. Due to the Celiferberites' actions the Kazinazils are drawn into the war. The expeditionary force from the planet Kazinazil is destroyed; but not before they manage to send for help. A small portion of that contingent of Kazinazili ships manages to return to the Zeusian System. Their task now. Protecting the secret they believe they found there. Unfortunately the Kinsu got there first and have captured a human. Fieztic't is a female Kinsu. Beautiful, yet ruthless, even by Kinsu standards. She is the leader of a skeleton crew which has captured the man they believe is responsible for creating the energy eating wave. Obsessed with unlocking all secrets he may have. She subjects him to tortures in ways he never imagined. These are aliens whose technology is so advanced. They can change their outward appearance in order to mimic other life forms. They have trans-hypnotic mind manipulating technology with which they are able to intercept and read the cognitive thoughts of those, they wish to interrogate and intern into an interrogation cell. The chamber forces the mind to think about what the Kinsus want it to think about. Something which is not a pleasant experience. The torture of Tury, the man currently in their chamber, is forced to endure. In the end allows him to see and understand things he would not have imagined on his own. For one he discovers he can insert code into his reticent memory and in that way cause the subconscious to act purposely. Tury realizes he must make the aliens believe they are getting some kind of useful information. He concocts a parabellum out of a story his father use to tell him. The parable involving, God and Beelzebub, he retells as if it is a continuing, current, and ongoing struggle. By making his captors fight his mind for the every word in the story. He hopes to convince them he's unwilling to give it to them. Because he resists and does everything in his power to thwart their mind probes. The female commander comes to the conclusion that even if her prisoner is not whom they think he is. He could still serve a purpose for her. Joyce goes out into the human populous ostensively to learn their weakness but more for her own ploy. There the more she learns about humans and their method of reproduction the more she is convinced she can merge it to the Kinsu form of entity creation. Continuum distracted by the war does not have time to personally supervise Joyce. The Celiferberites seem to be able to match him ship for ship and are formidable enough that he must concentrate on them. On the planet this whole affair is destined to be about. A quest of a different type is taking place. An even more advanced group seeks the answer to an accident which resulted and took one of their most gifted.

Luck was with all the other civilizations. While the Κοῖοςgics were interested in the events transpiring, and believe they have found the answer to what the contestants together. Their interest in the events was of a different sort; else there would have been but one victor remaining. In an unresolved war no one is truly triumphant. So for now while the dominant species of the earth, appears to no longer pose a threat to the universe. Questions remain. Will humanity survive to join the chorus of advanced civilizations? Because some will stay others, and will others return? The final decision will be evident only in whether if what as has come to be, will move human kind forward. There still remains the one impediment, humans must overcome. The vain of all civilizations doomed to extinction. They must move forward from their ingrained tendencies which tether them to the wrong path. Humans must recognized choice is and will always be; if they are to shed the mantle of unworthiness. The possibility of that has certainly grown. Humanity has seen the destruction weapons they as yet have not created might someday rain upon their world. Unimaginable perhaps even irreversible destruction if they do not learn that differences in creed, culture, belief, and yes even race; are as to life as is existence.

Therefore Joyce embarks on learning from those she believes are professionals at overcoming a man's resistance to furnishing his seed and takes over a brothel. There with the help of her two of crewmen. After killing the brothels original proprietor, she begins her journey in an even more dangerous direction for herself personally. Her species is forbidden under pain of death to mix for the purpose of recreating itself with other species. To hide the real purpose of her excursions out among the humans. She is proceeds as per the mission dictates. The mission's primary purpose to find the one responsible and prevent him from creating the weapon. Success or failure with that part not withstanding to initiate humanities demise. That part mandated she look for and find collaborators and facilitators among the human. Of her own accord she is proceeding with her plan to become immortal. She is convinced that the human method of procreation and the kinsu method of conjoining halves in a sense can be manipulated toward her end. Although that is still priority number one for her. Tury's efforts to thwart her accomplishment of that end has given her another just as important goal. Along with the way she intends to merge the different methods which will allow her to give herself rebirth for all eternity. At least at any time she feels she needs it. The achievement of immortality is but the beginning of her plan to in the end rule the universe. She believes; at the same time that there is the possibility she can gain Lucifer himself as an ally. That together the two of them can overpower the strongest of their kind. The Kinsu supreme leader, the most power Kinsu to have ever existed. Continuum himself. Joyce believing she can control everything around her has introduced M'etznuculie, currently known as Marcus, the name he has chosen as his human name. Marcus is the ship's number two. Her second in command. The two of them along with her chief of security, and her most trusted confidant OswDahEic. He is currently known as Grute by two of her working girls. He will later come to be known as ODE. The human sounding name he's choses for himself. ODE is a shortened version of his real name. Together the three of them will run the brothel and learn everything they need to know to learn. Which in the end is meant to facilitate the elimination of human life on earth. There among the ladies of the night Marcus and Grute, aka ODE, become infatuated with their individual assigned concubine. Their two ladies. Their infatuation leads them to believe they are experiencing true love. Believes further reinforced because the ladies in question also believe they have found the men of their dreams.

Humans need to offer up prayer after prayer because they will be needing miracle after miracle. Overcoming one Star Imploder and being able to eliminate it is not enough. The overall leader of the Celiferberites, Concordance Theodore Maximus comes to join his favorite commander Organizer Prime Janet Nightingale. He brings with him the end of the human race. In addition to more Star Imploders with which to destroy earth's sun, he brings other technologically advanced weapons that are just as great and just as deadly of weapons. Continuum comes as well; he will not be denied the vengeance he seeks against the Cellitrosh especially Maximus. The survival of the indigenous populace lies in the balance. Should humans and their allies the Kazinazils prove triumphant? Humans will still be tasked with proving they are deserving of existence when the one group that was always able to put an end to everything decides they too have an interest in ongoing events. Three that are one return at some later date to see if time to join is at hand. More important than that, in their view on them falls the task to allow the merging that the dominant species of the earth, somehow may precipitate and or participate in. Therefore the three of three must verify if humanity is a hindrance or a necessity to the merging. Above all to whether to allow the ongoing conflict to be resolved by the participants there engaged. Whether they themselves, the warring displaced entities, or humanity itself. Whether anyone, or any combination thereof is/are or are/is or, do no longer pose a threat to the universe. The proof will be evident only in whether human kind has gotten past it propensity to believe they are the greater of god's creation in the universe's creations. The one impediment they seem to be unable to shed even when all evidence is to the contrary and should make them want to grow to that ideal; instead of believing they're already there.

Now is the time to write the history. A history which will be recorded by advanced space bearing civilizations needing to define what humanity is all about. They don't want mankind's planet as a source for raw material; any material available on this small planet if far more bountiful in places much more accessible than this planet. Nor have they made it a secret they don't even consider humans as a viable source for slave labor. The weak bipedal human is not even suitable to be transported off his planet. While most of them believe it is unfathomable mankind becomes a threat to anyone the future; where there is little question as to what the outcome of man's behavior even with himself will be. One of the advanced civilizations whom has a captured species sample is yet to be identified as either benevolent or malevolent. So it is possible they would perhaps wait before deciding whether the threat they see is real, and when to act should man actually became a threat. In their mind once they have decided preemption is the better choice than its rather obvious just eliminate mankind immediately. Or should they first, through other means, look for the best ways by which to ensure the future of the universe without mankind in it and allow nature to take its course? Such is the premise through which, if not the most advanced of the space fairing species, this one entity which is not prone to leaving things to happen through voluntary self-elimination it will seek the answer by which to cause it. Although this one advanced civilization will at times try to acquire the information they want through nonlethal methods. Sometimes the answer begins with the induced genetic manipulation of a subject through experimentation as the one of the advanced civilizations seeks to identify the direction of its impending actions. All things not being equal the beginning direction of the experimentation, on that abducted species sample, is not truly intended to head in the direction their species really needs to solve the challenge to it. This commander capable and dangerous enough has seized the means by which it can rise to overall supremacy over and above its own kind as well. Now if the commanders own species realizes the cave man might lead to an opponent with offensive and defensive capabilities beyond their comprehension? How should they react? Suppose that as neither the cave men nor his experimenter is alone in the fate playing out its hand. Other advanced space bearing races, once aligned now realigned are fighting for their own cause or their own right to rule in the universe. So that a chance exchange of information has lead one them to ally themselves with humanity. Will man's propensity for redefining agreements he has entered and the distrust he generates when he does so, even those agreements are with fellow humans bring about defeat pulled from the jaws of victory. Especially when those he now believes are measuring up to where he sees humanity itself. Would those traits, because they are seen by advanced civilizations as proof of given life form's tendency to direct its own self-destruction cause alliances once forged ...to shift and take mankind to the brink of elimination? Would that mean man's chances for survival and advancement would hinge on which entity decides his words worth. The proactive one, the reactionary one, or the one that looks at getting to the correct answer for the enigma that man is. An answer which requires the seeker to recognize the base, the beginning, and the root of the problem such that he or she can see its origin. This is because it is at the origin where a solution to an enigma might be had.
