The author has been a Christian since his youth. Upon discovering a love for science in grade school, he pursued that interest throughout his entire life. Sadly, he found disagreement and conflict between the Christian only and Science only viewpoints. Since he was both a Christian and a scientist, he had to resolve in his mind these differences for his own spiritual and scientific well being. For more than sixty years, he has carefully formulated the words and concepts in this book that he hopes and prays will help others reach an understanding that both the Bible and the discoveries in science are true and reconcilable. God does not lie to us or mislead us. God is responsible for both His Bible and His Creation. Thus, any conflicts we find in the study of these two revelations from God result from our inability to interpret and understand properly either one or the other, or some of each. To more fully understand God, one must study both Gods words (the Bible) and the scientific discoveries of the footprints and fingerprints He left during the creation process that we are now able to find and interpret. We must correlate His words and His works to more fully understand Him. We must always be aware that our first impressions may not be entirely correct and that we must always continue to compare all our findings and interpretations with each other in an effort to seek and achieve the greater truth.

Examining his predictions (hypotheses), we can judge their accuracy across 4,000 years of human history. Evaluate use of science of history. Begin with secrets of the universe revealed long before modern satellites. Inspect a mathematically specific prediction of the coming of Jesus Christ. Does the Creator speak in absolutes? Does absolute truth exist? Consider the complexity of predicting the themes of history and future events. No man can do it. Recognize the unparalleled importance of God's expansion of science. Discover Jesus's description of biblical biology, biblical physics, and biblical chemistry, in God's design for human life. Albert Einstein taught that imagination is more important than knowledge, probably having come to this conclusion through a realization that almost all science represents belieffaithas opposed to knowledge. It should come as no surprise, then, that scienceespecially modern physics with its theories of relativity and quantum mechanicshas revolutionized thinking about the likelihood of the existence of God. In The Physics and Philosophy of the Bible, author and physician James Frederick Ivey explains how science, particularly quantum mechanics and relativity, aided by Platos philosophy and the history of Jewish people, can be utilized in order to virtually prove that God exists, that he is unique, and that he is the biblical deity. Ultimately an exploration of Christian philosophy and apologeticsincluding discussions of Christian history, secular retorts, the intersection of science and faith, and the relationship between physics and ultimate truthThe Physics and Philosophy of the Bible demonstrates that apologists are very close to the non-necessity of having to deal with whether God exists or not. From Platos earliest philosophical insights to the most groundbreaking discoveries in contemporary physics, we can find the fingerprints of God that prove He is with us. And. God seeks us just as we seek him, for he desires cognitive individuals with whom he can enjoy mutual love and intimacy.

The Bible is Indeed a Book of Science, Revealed By God. We live in a “scientific age,” and the proliferation of scientific knowledge and the resulting technologies seem almost endless. Scientific discoveries and developments, however, can be a danger as well as a blessing to mankind. The modern world is desperately in need of God’s own wisdom concerning the purpose and meaning of true science. When you move beyond modern assumptions and false preconceptions, the Bible is found to not only reveal a thoroughly modern perspective on the real facts and principles of science but also to provide wisdom and guidance concerning its proper role in human life. Biology is the science of life, and Christ himself is “life.” Geology is the science of the earth, and He is the Creator of the ends of the earth. We also could speak of other sciences, but all must ultimately be ascribed to Christ. True knowledge of any component of His creation must depend ultimately on the knowledge of Christ and His Word. Reveals biblical insights for cosmology, astronomy, physics, thermodynamics, chemistry, geology, paleontology, biology, anthropology, and more Brings to light how scientific and statistical evidence, rationally evaluated, favor God over evolution

It is generally assumed that science and religion are at war. Many now claim that science has made religious belief redundant; others have turned to a literalist interpretation of biblical creation to reject or revise science; others try to resolve Darwin with Genesis. "The Nature of Creation" addresses this complex debate by engaging with both modern science and biblical scholarship together. Creation is central to Christian theology and the Bible, and has become the chosen battleground for scientists, atheists and creationists alike. "The Nature of Creation" presents a sustained historical investigation of what the creation texts of the Bible have to say and how this relates to modern scientific ideas of beginnings. The book aims to demonstrate what science and religion can share, and how they differ and ought to differ.

How does science enhance faith? Is God relevant in an age of science? Science and Faith: Student Questions Explored investigates the relationship between science and Christianity in a series of thoughtful and accessible articles written by experts. Chosen from InterVarsitys Emerging Scholars Network blog, each chapter addresses common faith- and science-related questions. In part one, Science and Faith delves into why Christians should pursue scientific discovery, as well as the Bibles viewpoint on scientific method and inquiry. Part two begins the conversation on the direct relevance of science to faith and how Christian scientists can talk to their colleagues about their faith, while part three discusses how conversations about science can take place between Christians. Finally, part four explores the history of science and the church and the question How can the history of science encourage the church? While ideal for graduate students who are exploring their faith and their chosen scientific fields, this book can also be used in church settings or as a personal resource. The book provides questions to launch small group conversation about faith/science, whether youre a science PhD, a ministry leader, or an interested layperson. Since each reading is based on questions from real students, it may also be a resource for Christian faculty teaching the sciences. Contributors include Ruth Bancewicz, Gerald Rau, Greg Cootsona, Andy Walsh, and more.
