This book is written to a black Christian audience (but not exclusively to them) and is intended to help us all reminisce about where we've been, where we are today in American history, and where we're going. We as a black race have made our mark on American history, though it was not our decision to do so originally. Others decided to bring us from afar to this nation for their own gain. And gain for America it was. American slaves were instrumental in building our country before they were set free and many children of slaves, by choice, have continued to contribute positively to the betterment of our nation. I point out in this book that we as a people still have the ability to make a positive mark on our nation and our world. I want all the readers of this book, black and non-black, to see that as Christians, we have the responsibility and privilege of making our world better by allowing our "light" to shine before all people of earth. I want every reader to see through this book that being a Christian is more than professing to be a Christian, but true Christians possess the evidence. The followers of Jesus Christ in the Bible were first called Christians in Acts 11:26. They did not give themselves that name. The reason they were called "Christ-ians" is because the people of the time saw that they believed the teachings of Christ, they lived the teachings of Christ, they preached the words of Christ, and they performed the same miracles as Christ performed when He was still with them. I want to encourage all who say they are Christians to aspire to live worthy of that calling. I want to show that Christians are obligated to live as Christians in every aspect of life, even in our participation in the political process of our nation. Our nation was founded by men who believed in Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth. They had great respect for that God, though they were not men without moral imperfections. But there were some more spiritual than others who led their peers to prayer and acknowledgement of God when they came together to write the founding documents of America. Most of our laws under the Constitution were taken from biblical laws. Though our nation has undergone some dark periods in history, we have been greatly blessed, prosperous and respected in the world when we have remembered those biblical laws. Sir Winston Churchill said, "America is great because America is good; when America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great". Our goodness as a nation extended only from God. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 19:17, "There is none good but one; that is God". We, the citizens of this great nation, have it within our power to leave a lasting mark on the next generation of Americans and on world history. Let us accept the challenge to affect history and not just read about history. Please be blessed by this reading.

They have done so to enable them to continue to ravage the resources of those countries depriving the citizens of rule of law, justice, and freedom necessary ingredient for development of any country. No wonder why conflict is so prevalent in Africa countries. The author urge African Americans to begin to come to the rescue of African countries after they have rebuild their own lives so that one day we can all truly be free at last. I believe that the 70 percent of other races who are good human being will come to support every effort of the black people to rebuilt their lives. Many white had march side by side with black people before for black people causes. We are all human beings created in the image of God. But for those whites who hate black people and considered themselves to be superior to the blacks, I urge black people to forgive them when anyone asks for forgiveness and let God Almighty to be the judge of man’s action. Let Jesus Christ be your guide...
