We begin a new vision in given John the Revelator in Revelation Chapter 21. This vision is the fourth and final Great Vision shown John in the Revelation of Jesus Christ. The fourth great vision concerns itself with the church who is the bride, the Lambs wife. Four Great Visions divide The Revelation of Jesus Christ. I have discussed this point in each volume. I believe it is this important. Let's look again at the four great visions. Seeing the Revelation separated into four sections aids us in understanding the book. John separated each great vision by his going on a journey in the Spirit. Only four times we find the term "in the Spirit" used in the entire book. Each use designates a division opening a new section and a part of the Revelation. Here are the four divisions. First Great Vision: Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpetSecond Great Vision:Revelation 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.Third Great Vision:Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.Fourth Great Vision:Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from GodThese four uses are the only occurrences John used the phrase "in the spirit." With each unique journey in the spirit, the Lord Jesus gave John a diverse perspective and perception of Himself, Jesus Christ. Here are the four Great Visions. 1. Son of ManRevelation 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.2. Lamb as it had been slainRevelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.3. KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDSRevelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.4. The Husband of the bride, the Lamb's wifeRevelation 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.Within each Great Vision are several minor visions all dealing with Jesus Christ and His Revelation. An appointed angel led John in the spirit through each Great Vision. These four Great Visions are the Revelation of Jesus Christ. This volume and section, Revelation chapters 21 and 22, records the fourth and last Great Vision given John in the Book of Revelation. John saw a new heaven and a new earth. Then he watched the holy city, new Jerusalem, come down out of heaven. The city came out of heaven. Was it the heaven people go to who put their faith in Jesus Christ? How could it be if it came out of heaven? A key point I hope to make in this volume is the holy city, new Jerusalem is the Lamb's wife (Rev 21:9-10) who is the Church. John didn't see heaven. John saw the husband of the Bride, the Lamb's wife in this part of Jesus Christ's Revelation. After describing the holy city, new Jerusalem in allusion detail, John closed The Book of Revelation with the Lord's promise of His soon coming.Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.Revelation 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. What did Jesus mean when He said, "Surely I come quickly"? Are two-thousand years quickly? Could He have meant something else? I believe He did.

CHAPTER 4 OF THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRISTThis second great vision of the Lamb in the Throne continued on through chapter 16 of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. This volume will go through chapter 6. This great vision of the Slain Lamb in the Throne is what we imagine when we think of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. John entered the Second Great Vision. He again went into the Spirit. The Lord Jesus, the Son of man, opened the door to heaven and told John to come up. John first saw the indescribable throne room and He who sat on the throne. John saw the four beast creature cherubim and the twenty-four elders. John saw heavenly praise. CHAPTER 5 OF THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRISTAgain we note in this chapter how when studying Scripture and a chapter's or verse's number change it does not mean the context changed. John remained in the same context. John was in throne room within the glory cloud of God exactly where Moses stood when Moses saw the heavenly tabernacle and received his revelation and instructions to construct one on earth. Within the same cloud, the Lamb Slain was revealed to John. John saw the scroll no man could open and wept. John saw the slain Lamb who only was worthy to open the seven-sealed scroll taking it from the one who sat on the throne. From the throne, the Lamb opened the seals. We investigate the scroll written within and on the backside; the seven seals; why only the Lion Lamb was worthy to open the seals; and worship around the throne.CHAPTER 6 OF THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRISTWe study the opening of the first seal; the white horse and horseman; the opening of the second seal; the red horse and horseman; the opening of the third seal; the black horse and horseman; the opening of the fourth seal; the pale horse and horseman; the opening of the fifth seal; the souls under the altar whose blood cried out for vengeance; the opening of the sixth seal; de-creation and collapsing universe theology. We leave this volume awaiting to study the opening of the seventh seal.

In Chapter 7 of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, the second great vision continues and will through chapter 16. Chapter 6 ended with the opening of the sixth seal and John giving us collapsing universe or de-creation terminology. It seems it would be time now for the seventh seal to be opened, but no. It's time for everything to halt and silence until the hundred and forty-four thousand are sealed, and a great multitude of Gentiles redeemed. The winds of scattering will be held back until this is accomplished. In Chapter 8 of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, the second great vision continues and, as we've said, will continue through chapter 16. In Revelation chapter 8, the seventh seal is opened releasing the seven trumpets. However first the prayers of the saints went up to God. The censer with fire is hurled to the earth. Four angels sound their trumpets. In Chapter 9 of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, the second great vision continues through chapter 16. In Revelation chapter 9, the fifth trumpet sounded, and a male star fell from heaven. The star opened the bottomless pit releasing demon locusts. Amazingly, the locusts had a king. The sixth trumpet sounded, and a voice came from the golden altar releasing four angels bound in the Euphrates. These angels were a massive army with lion-headed horses. A third part of the people were killed. Yet, the living refused to repent. In Chapter 10 of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the second great vision continues and, as we've said, will through chapter 16. In Revelation chapter 10, John saw another mighty angel. This mighty angel was a very special and massive angel/messenger. He carried with him a little book. There were seven speaking thunders. John was not allowed to write what the thunders spoke and was commanded to eat the little book. It was bitter and sweet. In Chapter 11 of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, continuing in the second great vision of The Revelation, John was instructed to measure the temple. He was then told of the ministry of two witnesses, how God raised them from the dead, and of a great earthquake. The chapter ended when the seventh angel sounded the seventh trumpet, and the nations became angry.

In summation Volume 2 including Chapters 1 - 3 or the Book of Revelation, we see these chapters are consumed with and only interested in John entering the Spirit into the first Great Vision of the Book, i.e. The Son of Man walking among his churches. Revelation 1:10 I was IN THE SPIRIT on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpetJohn journeyed four times into the Spirit throughout the Book of Revelation. He saw four great visions as he entered the Spirit each. These four journeys and four Great Visions combine the Great Visions and sub-visions of the Revelation into one: The Revelation of Jesus Christ. The Four Great Visions are shown following. The Great Vision of the Son of ManRevelation 1:10 I was IN THE SPIRIT on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpetThe Great Vision of the Lamb In The ThroneRevelation 4:2 And immediately I was IN THE SPIRIT: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. The Great Vision of the King of Kings and Lord of Lord'sRevelation 17:3 So he carried me away IN THE SPIRIT into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The Great Vision of the Lamb's WifeRevelation 21:10 And he carried me away IN THE SPIRIT to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from GodThe Son of man instructed John to write to the seven angels at the seven churches in Asia - Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. The individual angels are the seven church leaders or leadership responsible for each church. Every letter follows an underlying protocol: 1. the Character of Christ; 2. the Commendation; 3. the Condemnation; and finally the Challenge. Each letter was broken down into these four sections with little alteration. This is a great support in grasping the truths found in each letter. A most interesting aspects of the first three chapters is it establishes the seven angels. The angels are a mystery we find in all four of the Great Visions throughout the Book of Revelation (8:2, 6; 15:1, 6, 7, 8; 16:1; 17:1; 21:9). Their presence throughout relays to us how the churches, church leadership, and the church leader were all and are heavily involved with the events of the Revelation. It was the seven angels who sounded the trumpets. It was the seven angels who poured out the vials. It was the seven angels who showed us the great whore, and showed us the Lamb's wife who is the New Jerusalem. We find the seven angels in all Four Great Visions of the Revelation. In the First Great Vision:Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the ANGELS OF THE SEVEN CHURCHES: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. In the Second Great Vision:Revelation 8:6-7 Then the SEVEN ANGELS who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them. The first angel sounded his trumpet...Revelation 16:2 The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. In the Third Great Vision:Revelation 17:1 And there came one of the SEVEN ANGELS which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:In the Fourth Great Vision:Revelation 21:9 One of the SEVEN ANGELS who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."Each Church received a particular message from the Son of man, our Lord Jesus Christ. Within the message, each church received a piece of the vision of the Son of man. However, no one church received the entire vision of the Son of man.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION - THE STONE COMETH - VOLUME 7 is a verse by verse study of the Book of Revelation. This section, Revelation chapters 17, 18, 19, and 20, records the third great revelation given Jesus Christ by God. This great vision is KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant JohnWe now begin the third great vision given Jesus Christ by God and shown the servants of God through John. (Rev 1:1). You will recall the Lord divided this Revelation of Jesus Christ into four great visions. The book separates each section by John going on a journey in the Spirit. Four times the book used the term "in the Spirit." Each use designates the Book of Revelation's divisions and the total Revelation of Jesus Christ. First Great Vision: Revelation 1:10 I was IN THE SPIRIT on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.Second Great Vision: Revelation 4:2 And immediately I was IN THE SPIRIT: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.Third Great Vision: Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away IN THE SPIRIT into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.Fourth Great Vision: Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away IN THE SPIRIT to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.These are the only four times John used the phrase in the spirit. With each journey in the spirit, the Lord Jesus gave John a diverse perspective and perception of Jesus Christ. 1. Son of Man * Revelation 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.2. Lamb as if it slain - Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.3. KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS - Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.4. The Husband of the Lamb's wife - Revelation 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.Within each great vision are minor visions all dealing with the Revelation of Jesus Christ given Jesus Christ by God and shown the servants through John. Chapter 17: we study The Great Whore and the Beast as the nations are made drunk with the wine of her fornication. Chapter 18: we study The Fall of Babylon and rejoice with all of heaven at her fall.Chapter 19: we study the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, and cast the Sea Beast and the Land Beast into the Lake of fire forever and ever.Chapter 20: we study the Bottomless Pit and understand the Thousand Years. We study the First Resurrection, Gog and Magog, and watch as the Lord Cast the Devil into the Lake of Fire. The chapter and the third great vision ends with THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT.

Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 10 The book of Revelation is easily divided into four great visions. These four great visions have numerous smaller visions sub-headed under the four great visions. Each of the four great visions are designated by John's being in the Spirit. For example, as we will shortly see, the first great vision of Christ given in chapter 1 is of Jesus Christ in the midst of the seven candlesticks, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle, His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire, feet like unto fine brass, voice as the sound of many waters, etc. This vision of is Jesus Christ will dominate chapters 1, 2, and 3. John will use this description when speaking to the seven churches. This vision will include seven letters written to seven angels at seven churches. The great vision is the Son of man with the sub or inner visions being the seven letters. Each of the four great visions will begin with John entering the spirit. Each great vision will give a different feature of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Each of the four great visions is separate and initiated by John's statement: in the Spirit. John leaves the natural and enters the Spirit to receive the great visions. Each great vision paints a picture of the Christ. This gives us the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Following are the locations of John's leaving the natural and entering the great vision (Rev 1:10; 4:2; 17:3; 21:10).Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day...Revelation 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit...Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit...Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit...These four times are the only times the term in the spirit is used. A particular revelation is given after each use. The second great vision shows Christ as the Lamb slain. We are given a picture of a Lamb with seven eyes and seven horns in the midst of the throne. The third great vision is the King of kings riding on the white horse. Again we have a picture of him from head to toe. The fourth great vision is Christ revealed through his wife the church descending out of heaven. This easily divides the Revelation and begins our understanding of this boundless book. Here (1:10), we are introduced to the first great vision of Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day. Immediately the great vision began. The presence of Christ was both heard and seen to such magnitude John fell as if dead (1:17). This establishes a consistent order throughout the Revelation. John will first hear and then will see.Let's investigate the thought of in the Spirit. This phrase is prophetic language stating John was receiving revelation from another dimension other than the natural. John is receiving information in the Spirit (see Mat 22:43; 2Sa 23:2; Eze 2:2; 2Pe 1:21; Num 11:25).In the Spirit is not a dimension John remains in continually. He will enter the Spirit realm four different times throughout the Revelation (1:10; 4:2; 17:3; 21:10). This established four great visions and four distinct revelations of Jesus Christ. Yet, this is all one Revelation of one Christ. It is not the book of Revelations (plural). It is the book of Revelation. To understand the Christ, we must understand these four aspects of Him. A person - man - can be a believer, a husband, a father, and an employee. By understanding these four aspects of the man, we have a revelation about the man. All four are vital for an accurate picture of him. One or even two parts of the picture will only give a partial and even distorted picture. If the Son of man is understood in the candlesticks, if the Lamb is understood on the throne, if the conquering King is understood as He rides through the nations, and if the Husband of the Lamb's wife is understood as a loving...

In Chapter 12, the second great vision continues. Chapters 12-16 of John's visit into the spirit realm (Rev 4:2) displays the theme of the church in conflict with the dragon. The first section of this great vision (chapters 4-11) showed the view from the throne of the Lamb. From the throne, He executed vengeance upon the land (ge) by destroying those who killed the witnesses and the treading underfoot the city. The second section gives several visions and mysteries. These will show the survival of the church and the gathering to Armageddon. In these chapters, we will see the vision of the woman, the vision of the dragon, the vision of the beast from the sea, and the vision of the beast from the land. These are the type things we think about when we think of The Revelation of Jesus Christ. In Chapter 13, the second great vision continued and will through Chapter 16. In this section of the vision, John saw two beasts. He saw a beast rise out of the sea and a beast rise out of the land. As we will see, the first beast arose from the nations, specifically Rome Italy. The second beast came from the Jewish nation, specifically Judaism. The first beast fulfills the prophecy of Daniel as the leopard, bear, and lion. The second beast is a beast in lamb's clothing causing everyone to be marked in the head or the hand. The number of the first beast is 666. John continued his second great vision. Chapter 13 ended with identifying the beast of the sea. Chapter 14 begins with those marked by the Father. John tells of 144,000 virgins never defiled by a woman. Is John serious? Does John actually mean women defile men? We are then told of the ministries and messages of angels concerning the Everlasting Gospel, Babylon, the mark of the beast, the sharp sickle, and blood to the horses' bridles. Chapter 14 ended with the thrusting in of sickles and with blood to the horse's bridles. Chapter 15 begins with seven angels with plagues filled with the wrath of God. Those victorious over the beast, his image, and his number sang the song of Moses. The Song of Moses is the termination of the age of Moses. The chapter ends with seven vials of the wrath of God given to the seven angels. Chapter 15 ended with the seven vials of the wrath of God given to the seven angels as the temple filled with smoke. Chapter 16 begins with the seven angels pouring out the wrath of God with the sixth vial bringing Armageddon into the picture. Chapter 16 brings to a close the second great vision given John in the Book of Revelation. From the throne came "It is done."

We have quickly but methodically and with historical references, discussed The War of AD 70 and its relationship to the Great Tribulation and The Book of Revelation. Jesus spoke specifically about the land of Philistia and even more how Jerusalem and the Jewish temple would be laid barren and made desolate. Jesus also said this would happen to His generation, the generation to which He physically came and spoke. Jesus laid the great tribulation out in specifics. He told His disciples exactly what they should expect, how to know it was time, and when it was over, and Jesus was ruling from heaven. What Jesus told them about the desolation and great tribulation was to be repeated to all known nations as a witness proving when it happened, Jesus, the Son of man, was indeed seated in heaven. As the witness of the apostles and disciples progressed across the known world, the relationship between the Jewish nation and Rome deteriorated. Taxes, oppression, poor governing, the demand of Rome for the Jews to worship Caesar, etc. eventually brought rebellion and war. Jesus told his disciples seven issues would happen prior to the abomination of desolation and destruction of the nation. These are known as the beginning of sorrows: many would say they were the Christ; wars and rumors of wars; famines, pestilences, and earthquakes; the apostles would be arrested, beaten, hated, and killed; false preachers would deceive many; people would hate one another; and the gospel of the kingdom would be preached to the known world as a witness to the fact Jesus said the destruction of Philistia would happen. This would show it was of God and not of Rome. Every one of these seven beginnings of sorrows happened. At the exact time, the Roman armies invaded the land. Three Roman generals methodically took apart Philistia plundering every city exactly as Jesus said it would happen. The city of Jerusalem was sieged for around two years. Jerusalem fell. It was burned, and the Jewish temple of sacrificial worship was destroyed and dismantled exactly as Jesus said it would happen. Nearly 100,000 Jewish people died. Those not killed, were taken into slavery by Rome. No wonder Jesus wept over the nation. To this day, two thousand years later, the temple and Jewish worship system has not been restored and will never be. The war of AD 70 was the Great Tribulation Jesus warned of in Matthew 24:21. It was the end of the age (Mat 24:3). It is what The Book of Revelation is concerned with in Chapters 4-16.

I have some things I want to deal with which the prophetic preachers out there completely overlook. They look at 1st Thessalonians 5th and say it has nothing to do with the rapture, because they do not believe the rapture will come before the tribulation. You have these preachers today that have changed their mind...
