Chandogya Upanishad forms a part of the Chandogya Brahmana of the Sama Veda. It is one of the largest Upanishads. It has eight chapters, each voluminous with many verses. Swami Swahananda, who was a senior monk of the Ramakrishna Order and a minister of the Vedanta Society of Southern California from 1976 to 2012, has translated the Upanishad into English.
