The Clone Identity Fans of Haloʼ, David Weber, and Robert Buettner's Orphan series, arm yourselves for Clone Identity, a triune of steel-hard, testosterone-fueled military science fiction, long on action and high on violence! By 2508 A.D., humans have spread across the Milky Way Galaxy. The Unified Authority controls Earth's colonies with an iron fist and a powerful military-a military made up almost entirely of clones. Private First-class Wayson Harris is one among thousands of Marines born and bred as the ultimate soldiers. But Harris isn't like the others-he has a mind of his own. In The Clone Republic, Harris rises rapidly through the ranks, drawing the attention of shadowy U.A. leaders whose plans he disrupts by his very existence. In Rogue Clone, separatists are wreaking havoc throughout the galaxy. The U.A.'s fate depends on Admiral Klyber and his giant battleship, Doctrinaire. But Klyber has serious enemies, and Harris will have to decide whether to fight them...or join them. And in The Clone Alliance, Harris is contacted by a group of rebels that want to return to the U.A.'s protection. Leading a strike force is what he was born for, but the rebels have a powerful ally no one could have imagined....

Winner of the 2021 New England Book Festival for Science Fiction Award Winning Finalist for Science Fiction: General in the American Book Fest 2021 Who will inherit the dying earth? The Ark Project is the epic story of a desperate attempt to redefine what it means to be human in a world perched on the edge of destruction with the technology to engineer humans capable of living in space. When one scientist takes it upon herself to make the hard decision of who gets to live and who must die, Kaiden, a courageous security officer plagued with memories from a past he did not live and a family he never had, sets out to stop her. Failure means the end of humanity as it has always been and the emergence of a new human experience where individuality and identity have no meaning at all. And Kaiden's mind may be the secret to the survival of individual consciousness-of identity itself-but he won't know unless he allows himself to die. The Ark Project explores the profound challenges and contradictions posed by modern science about the nature of humanity, individuality, memory, identity, human emotion, and motivation. What does it mean to be human when the "normal" biological limitations of both body and mind have been superseded by technology? In the Clone Paradox Kaiden is a young security officer tasked with protecting human clones as part of a top-secret, international research program called The Ark Project. After surviving a terrorist attack on his airship, Kaiden begins having memories of a life he never lived, of people he has never met, of a family that never existed. The unsettling memories drive him to recover his lost identity and to search for the family that now haunts his dreams. But The Ark Project is about more than developing clones, and it will protect its secrets at any cost. The deeper Kaiden digs, the more he understands that he, and those like him, are expendable lab rats in a broader campaign to replace humanity. Kaiden has to choose between saving the family he longs for and preserving billions of innocent lives. He can't have it both ways, and time is running out.

Colony of Clones, the second book in an evocative sci-fi trilogy, explores the perilous politics bubbling up in an experimental community of human clones. Rex and Dago, cloned from iconic historical figures, grapple for control over their fledgling settlement isolated from the outside world. Brilliant outcast Ator, cloned from Galileo, challenges the colony’s questionable doctrine before being banished by its authoritarian leader. The clones, copied from the bone shards of ‘genetically superior’ personages, grow up ingrained with a heightened sense of superiority, entitlement and independence. But as clones based on long-dead people struggle to find identity and purpose, fissures split wide open and they find themselves navigating a world that is anything but certain. When visitor Jake is brought to the secretive colony by the increasingly paranoid Dago, he bears uneasy witness to the psychological distress catalysed by experimental human cloning devoid of ethics. Dago’s own sister Mary grapples to break free from the trauma of being a clone caught out of time. Probing the devastating ramifications of playing god in a lab, Colony of Clones examines human cloning through an absorbing character-driven narrative full of intrigue, thought experiments, and moral complexity.

So my only protection is a kindergarten teacher and a ninety-eight-pound female minister....And they don't even believe I'm in danger. As Bethany approaches her thirteenth birthday, her parents begin acting more oddly than usual: Her mother cries constantly, and her father barely lets Bethany out of his sight. Then one morning he hustles the entire family into the car, drives across several state lines -- and leaves Bethany with an aunt she never knew existed. Bethany has no idea what's going on. She's worried that her mom and dad are running from some kind of trouble, but she can't find out because they won't tell her where they are going. Bethany's only clue is a few words she overheard her father tell her aunt Myrlie: "She doesn't know anything about Elizabeth." But Aunt Myrlie won't tell Bethany who Elizabeth is, and she won't explain why people in her small town react to Bethany as if they've seen a ghost. The mystery intensifies when Bethany gets a package from her father containing four different birth certificates from four states, with four different last names -- and thousands of dollars in cash. And when a strange man shows up asking questions, Bethany realizes she's not the only one who's desperate to unravel the secrets of her past. In this exhilarating thriller, Margaret Peterson Haddix crafts a taut story so full of twists and turns, readers will be gripped until the startling conclusion.

M.D. Judea/Christian scripture indicates man was made in the image of an intelligent and benevolent Creator. If this is correct, then man is technically a clone that should reflect intelligence and benevolence. It is unlikely that the Creator was composed of DNA to clone but it is likely the Creator is Information. Life information is transferable and can reproduce some other being, i.e. sheep, etc. It is no secret that an essential component of God is law, judgment, purpose, etc. all of which are forms of code, communication, and information. This is throughout the Tanak or Old Testament scripture and epitomized in John 1:1-3. "In the beginning was the Word..." All information can be translated to another language. If God is Information or Word, then His likeness can also be translated to another language, i.e. DNA. Man would therefore be a reflection of such a Creator, albeit a fallen one due to corrupt genes. This would then imply that the nature of man is related to the nature of the Source of universe. This book correlates the profound bio-spiritual link between the human mind and its Source. This is a realistically biological spiritual look at human nature-past and future.
