The Colors, Days, and Shapes of Creation is our greatest story, presented in a colorful, educational, and thoroughly delightful way. This inventive and prayerful adaptation of the Creation Story reads like a poem, a child's song of innocence. What better way for a child to learn biblical concepts than through the world of color, rhyming, and delight? April Magill's remarkable book gives us this. . .and more. Folded into the rhymes and color are techniques that strengthen cognitive skills. Sequencing is learned through the days of the week; positional (ordinal) counting is grasped through the numbers given to the days of Creation, first through seventh. There are shapes-rectangle, square, circle, etc.-and symbols. There's even a delightful pig, reminding children to love all of God's creatures, even if they're messy or pig-headed! The colors presented in this book are vivid. At the same time, they have purpose. A gold Bible suggests the Golden Rule; a purple bird, a dove, is representative of the Holy Spirit. Your child will be enraptured by the colors of the rainbow, representing God's promise to Noah and the beauty of the earth. Every child will learn and grow, thanks to this imaginative and unique book.

Any woman can look and feel lovely, regardless of her age, bank balance, or pant size, and Looking Good . . . Every Day defines a simple yet sophisticated standard for women to determine exactly which clothes and accessories will showcase their unique beauty. The “points of connection” method explains that the more characteristics that exist in common between a woman and her outfit, the more lovely she will look. It shifts emphasis from hiding her perceived figure challenges and focuses on spotlighting her personal assets. By choosing wardrobe additions in this way, everything in her closet will work together. She has more outfits from fewer garments, allowing her to buy higher-quality garments without increasing her budget. Photography of real women—ranging from 22 to 80 years old and from size 4 to 24—illustrates the universal impact “points of connection” make in their appearance.

The Divine Perception written by Sandra Cuevas De Gracia and has been published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-03-16 with Self-Help categories.

An interpretation of God's love and human identity. Based on "A Course in Miracles" and the "Bible". With great love and joy during His new creation, God included the tree of life in the middle of the Garden of Eden. God's plan of perfect love was for Adam and Eve to deny the temptation to sin and never to learn about evil. Hence, they would be able to eat from the tree of life and inherit immortality to humankind. In this book, we analyze how human life would have been if sin did not exist and how humans, through their divine perception, can see beyond their human perception. Dressed with their divine perception, they acquire the internal feeling of perfect peace, love, and joy. This is produced when the awareness of God is present in daily living. Also analyzed is how the devil hates the children of God, thus offering them an evil perception, and how he creates personalized sins for each human being. Humans who are deceived want to be gods of their own will. Thus, they deny their love to God, to creation, and to humanity. By denying their love, unknowingly, they deny love to themselves. In this manner, the devil keeps humans in a state of anguish and depression with the goal to destroy them. The devil's goal is for humans to commit suicide or wish the death of others. When humans decide to ask God for forgiveness of their sins and they reject their sinful will, then they recover their divine perception. As they remember God and accept God as their Creator, their spirits are filled with love. They then realize that the only responsibility of God's children is to forgive and love.

The Language Of Color In The First Goetheanum written by Hilde Raske and has been published by Rudolf Steiner Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-05-25 with Religion categories.

Rudolf Steiner’s architectural masterpiece, the double-domed building known as the first Goetheanum, featured decorated ceilings that were designed and partly painted by Steiner himself, utilizing vegetable colors and a new layering technique. Steiner emphasized that he was seeking a new artistic conception based on a conscious understanding of the nature of color. Contemporaries report the extraordinary effect of the domed ceilings’ paintings combined with the multicolored light emanating from the engraved glass windows. The cupolas depicted the creation and ages of the world, the initiators of the various cultural epochs and the figure of Christ. Tragically, the ‘complete work of art’ that was the first Goetheanum burned down on New Year’s Eve 1922 – so today we can only get an impression of the lost paintings and windows from Rudolf Steiner’s pastel sketches and drawings and a handful of photographs. In this lavish volume, the result of decades of research and study, Hilde Raske provides a detailed examination of the artistic work on the two cupolas, including Rudolf Steiner’s draft sketches and his written and verbal statements. Featuring 30 color and more than 100 black-and-white illustrations, this printing is a high-quality facsimile of the long out-of-print original edition from 1983.

Alive In Shape And Color written by Lawrence Block and has been published by Simon and Schuster this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-12-05 with Fiction categories.

In his brilliant follow-up to In Sunlight or In Shadow, Lawrence Block has gathered together the best talent from popular fiction to produce an anthology as inventive as it is alluring, including Joyce Carol Oates, Lee Child, Michael Connelly, David Morrell, and Jeffery Deaver. Even before Lawrence Block could rest on his laurels from In Sunlight or In Shadow, a question arose. What would he do for an encore? Any number of artists have produced evocative work, paintings that could trigger a literary response. But none came to mind who could equal Hopper in turning out canvas after canvas. If no single artist could take Hopper’s place, how about a full palette of them? Suppose each author was invited to select a painting from the whole panoply of visual art—From the cave drawings at Lascaux to a contemporary abstract canvas on which the paint has barely dried. And what a dazzling response! Joyce Carol Oates picked Le Beaux Jours by Balthus. Warren Moore chose Salvador Dali’s The Pharmacist of Ampurdam Seeking Absolutely Nothing. Michael Connelly, who sent Harry Bosch to Chicago for a close look at Nighthawks, has a go at The Garden of Earthly Delights by Harry’s namesake Hieronymous Bosch. S. J. Rozan finds a story in Hokusai’s The Great Wave, while Jeffery Deaver’s "A Significant Find” draws its inspiration from—yes—those prehistoric cave drawings at Lascaux. And Kristine Kathryn Rusch moves from painting to sculpture and selects Rodin. In artists ranging from Art Frahm and Norman Rockwell to René Magritte and Clifford Still, the impressive concept goes on to include Thomas Pluck, Sarah Weinman, David Morrell, Craig Ferguson, Joe R. Lansdale, Jill D. Block, Justin Scott, Jonathan Santlofer, Gail Levin, Nicholas Christopher, and Lee Child, with each story accompanied in color by the work of art that inspired it.
