Whatever your dreams, you're going to need the help of other people to maximise your level of success and fulfillment in life. Your brain is limited in terms of how much information it can absorb and process. Once this limit is exceeded, your brain becomes overloaded and over-stressed. If this state is not resolved, it can eventually lead to a decline in both your physical and mental health. It's very likely that what you actually need is not more information, but rather more inspiration. Once inspired, you will take the vital action required for you to achieve your personal and professional goals. This, in turn, will inspire you to connect with like-minded others, who will help you however and whenever they can. By harnessing the incredible power of community, you will quickly discover that while there will always be lots of effort involved, the method by which you will achieve all of your goals is actually very simple and involves lots of fun.

We have all experienced disappointment in relationships. Sometimes we wonder if it's even possible to have enduring, positive relationships in our homes, our work, and our communities. In The Connection Code, trusted Bible teacher O. S. Hawkins digs deep into the biblical book of Philemon to give us a blueprint for building life-giving relationships in every sphere of our lives. This tiny book in the New Testament is a letter the apostle Paul wrote to a wealthy businessman named Philemon on behalf of his escaped bond servant, Onesimus. Containing only 22 sentences, the book of Philemon unlocks the code to forging interpersonal connections that stand the test of time. With the practical and thoughtful Bible teaching he's known for, Dr. Hawkins reflects on every verse in Philemon in light of our relationships today. Following the style of the bestselling Code Series, The Connection Code explores: The three critical relationships each of us need How to let others know we believe in them Why a win-win perspective is crucial for friendships How true commitment always includes forgiveness Why finding our self-worth in Christ empowers us to love others well If you long for deep, authentic friendships in a superficial world, discover what God's plan has always been for building relationships that last in The Connection Code.

Abstract: "In this paper I describe my experience porting a code called FLO67 from Fortran-77 to CM-Fortran for the Connection Machine. The Fortran-77 code was written by Antony Jameson and was optimized for the Convex. The code solves the Euler equations for flow past a swept wing by a multigrid, multistage time stepping scheme with residual averaging. The Connection Machine code is a combination of CM-Fortran and Fortran-77. Currently, the code runs 15 times faster on a 64 K CM-2 compared to a two head Convex. In this document, I have attempted to extract some general features of the porting process that might be valuable to other people porting codes to CM-Fortran."

This book is one of its own kind. It is not an encyclopedia or a hands-on tutorial that traps readers in the tutorial hell. It is a distillation of just one common Python user’s learning experience. The experience is packaged with exceptional teaching techniques, careful dependence unraveling and, most importantly, passion. Learning Advanced Python by Studying Open Source Projects helps readers overcome the difficulty in their day-to-day tasks and seek insights from solutions in famous open source projects. Different from a technical manual, this book mixes the technical knowledge, real-world applications and more theoretical content, providing readers with a practical and engaging approach to learning Python. Throughout this book, readers will learn how to write Python code that is efficient, readable and maintainable, covering key topics such as data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming and more. The author’s passion for Python shines through in this book, making it an enjoyable and inspiring read for both beginners and experienced programmers.

Electrical Engineering/Communications/Information Theory "The Berlekamp article alone will make this book worth having." --David Forney, Vice President, Motorola Codex Reed-Solomon Codes and Their Applications Edited by Stephen B. Wicker, Georgia Institute of Technology and Vijay K. Bhargava, University of Victoria On the Voyager spacecraft, they were responsible for sending clear pictures of the planets back to earth. They have also played a key role in the digital audio revolution. They are Reed-Solomon error codes: the extremely powerful codes that provide critical error control for many different types of digital communications systems. This outstanding collection of thirteen original articles written by leading researchers in the field provides a uniquely comprehensive overview of the history and practical applications--some never before published--of these important codes. Key features include: * Thirteen original articles from leading researchers in the field, with a historical overview by Reed and Solomon * An explanation of how Reed-Solomon codes were used in the Voyager spacecraft and how they are currently used in the compact disc player * Specific applications for digital audio, data transfer over mobile radio, satellite communications, spread spectrum systems, and more * New techniques for improving the performance of your own communications systems This book will be of interest to design and research engineers in the telecommunications field, particularly those in the aerospace/satellite and mobile radio industries. It is also well-suited for use as an advanced-level textbook on the subject of error control coding. Books of Related Interest from IEEE Press Clauide Elwood Shannon: Collected Papers Edited by N. J.
