The Presbyterian minister, Mr. Garrett, who had just arrived on one of his periodical visits, expressed an earnest desire that we should hold our usual evening service in the afternoon, in order that he might assemble his own people in the evening at their own place of meeting. I was very glad to comply with his request. His visits are necessarily infrequent; but, at all other times, the Presbyterians are regular attendants at the services of our own Church. SUNDAY, 12th.
