INSPIRED BY A TRUE STORY Matt Bierman, formerly a United States Army Ranger who once assisted the rescue mission of Jessica Lynch during the Iraq War, returned stateside under the throes of PTSD. Then on May 28, 2005, he was in an accident which forever changed his life. Jumping from a moving car his head hit the pavement at over 35 mph. He was induced into a coma and his parents were informed to prepare for his imminent death. Matt's perseverance and determination to live, however, stood strong.
