Most everyone on the planet is aware of the word empathy, but what is it? Empathy is experienced in two basic forms, instinctual and innate. The most common form of empathy is instinctual. It is based in self-preservation and the need of the individual is more important than the need of others. Everyone has this form within them. Another form of empathy is innate. This form of empathy is based in an innate feeling of care for others. These two forms of empathetic care determine how we treat others and our self. Instinctual empathy cares more about oneself before others. This manifests as disharmony with others and becomes problematic for society. This is the basis of selfishness. If a person has innate empathy, they tend to be caring, but care at their own expense. They feel the pain of others and another's pain often becomes theirs too. This causes the individual to feel disharmonious within oneself. There is a way to solve both kinds of empathetic disharmony. Empathy is a connective energy. It does not tell you how you connect with yourself or others; you do, with the depths of your being, or you do not. This book will teach you how to be in harmony with the essence of your empathy.

The Empathic Movement written by Menotti Lerro and has been published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-09-29 with Art categories.

This book explores the newly founded Empathic Movement. The movement began in 2020, when noted artists were called upon by Menotti Lerro to sign the Empathic Manifesto, bringing their individual expressions of the “arts” together in a less individualistic way. They then started to help create a new cultural pole in southern Italy, giving life to the Contemporary Arts Centre, which founded the Poetry Village, the Village of Aphorisms, and the Cilento Poetry Prize, and shone light on a new cultural territory. The book argues that the decentralization of culture gives voice to the silent masses, especially the peasant voices in the mountains, with a particular emphasis on intense and genuine emotion and feelings shared with others through the arts, rejecting individualism, social exclusion, and excessive competition between artists. The symbolic myth of the movement is called Unus: a semi-unknown god representing the Total Artist who was killed, torn to pieces, and thrown into the Alento river by his brothers, leading to the old separation of the arts.

This book has two main objectives. The first is to identify and adequately describe the phenomenon of empathy. This essentially means offering a strong, reasoned and accurate description of the phenomenon of empathy in order to capture the essence of the empathic phenomenon and clearly distinguish it from other similar emotional phenomena such as sympathy or compassion The second part focuses on the role that this phenomenon can play on the ethical-moral level. The question is whether empathy is necessary or at least important for morality, and if so, to what extent, in what way and for what reasons. This is an open access book.

"Empathy Is More Than Words" is an excellent addition to Dr. Kathy Marshack's line of books that serve as primers on relating to people who lack Empathy because of Autism, traumatic brain injury, addiction, or illness. In this book, she takes a deep dive into the topic of Empathy itself. Enter a roomful of people and, if you have Empathy, you unconsciously gauge who has-or doesn't have-Empathy. How is it that you can do so, but those without Empathy cannot? To answer this question, Dr. Marshack leads her readers on a profound journey into the intrinsic nature of Empathy. She addresses many of the troubling communication conundrums that plague relationships between the NeuroTypical and the NeuroDiverse. Dr. Marshack confronts the myths about Empathy head-on and clearly demonstrates how Empathy is indeed more than words. She introduces her newest discovery, Radiant Empathy. The epitome of Empathy, Radiant Empathy goes well beyond having an empathic understanding of another individual. It is the willingness to forgive yourself and others while commanding the courage and wisdom to stand up for those who are suffering, perhaps from PTSD episodes triggered by new trauma. Forgiveness, emphasizes Dr. Marshack, is fundamental to Radiant Empathy. A stand-out example of Radiant Empathy is seen in a poignant photo taken 11 days into the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. It depicts a line of empty strollers and prams, collected by Polish mothers and left waiting at a Poland train station for the Ukrainian mothers who would soon arrive with next to nothing. This telling photo of steadfast Radiant Empathy appeared in media around the world. Several "out-of-the-box" tools unfold in this book, including the Empathy Triad, which represents the relationship of Empathy to Context and Conversation; and the 7-Step Interface Protocol, which can bridge the psychological divide between the NeuroTypical and the NeuroDiverse. This is the fifth in Dr. Marshack's series of books focused on helping NeuroTypical and NeuroDiverse individuals develop effective solutions that create understanding. Many a NeuroDivergent couple has sought out Dr. Marshack for relationship help. Using the tools discussed in this book, they have succeeded in reclaiming the love lost in the chaos of NeuroDivergence. Curious readers will discover how a grizzly bear, pirates, software development, Pepto Bismol, confetti, the witches of Oz, Monica Lewinsky, Malala Yousafzai, and Autistic comedienne Hannah Gadsby factor into the author's fascinating discoveries about Empathy. Adding to Dr. Marshack's cache of resources to help NeuroDivergent couples manage their relationships is her new and innovative on-demand video course, "ASPERGER SYNDROME" & Relationships: Life with an Adult on the Autism Spectrum, available at: http: //www.asd-ntrelationships.com/courses.
