Since none in his family's past had that name, and the name was considered outside the religion policies how did he come to be named John? And if just a vagabond or simple prophet as most people assume, how was he so knowledgeable about religious correctness and the Hebrew religious practices? What was the Baptist's religion with his family? If Hebrew why did the Pharisees being Jewish hate him? Why is attaching title of prophet to him an error? Why did it take so long for the rulers to execute him? With the king and queen being the only ruling party in power why did they not last? What happened to the civil rulers of the time period? A reading pleasure, its value is to the reader but it is that a couple of pastors purchased the material for use in their bible study. .. The author never thought about writing the book just was pushed into it by so many people having different concepts that challenged his own thinking. The need to know resulted in the hunt for fact and truth which all the prior various opinions in controversy only hindered. Simply put it ended up being a true learning experience for the author who feels any reader will appreciate the time and knowledge put into the book.
