Naked Christians comprises a collection of poems which either warns of the lack of eternal life in the souls of many naked Christians (1) who think they live as the body of Christ but do not, (2) who dare to call themselves Christians but have not as yet been born again, (3) who have been duped by false shepherds into believing that there are many ways to God the Father other than the only way of Jesus Christ, (4) who believe that repentance is just a one-time act if it is even necessary at all in the first place, (5) who may be weakening, if saved at all, while they are being engulfed by deniers of God’s word. Who can sit in a naked church in the midst of naked Christians being instructed by a naked pastor and still hope to be found in the presence of the Lord in the millennium?

Leaders are often pressured to lead in the way 'others' would have them lead. Although advice and opinions will be numerous they must learn to hear only from the Chief Shepherd, and lead the way He would have them lead. The bible has provided perfect examples of leadership; Moses in the Old Testament and Jesus Christ, in the New Testament. Moses shepherded people for over forty years in the wilderness only to miss out on the Promised Land, in the end. In attempting to shepherd God's people today, this can too easily be the predicament of our current day leaders. Sheep have a view; it is just different than that of the Shepherd. Sheep (the congregation) will never be able to see what the Shepherd sees. It is the responsibility of the Shepherd to lead, care for, protect and feed the flock. The caveat is that the shepherd is not leading, caring for, protecting, and feeding his own flock, but he is shepherding the flock that belongs to God. Therefore, a shepherd can't operate on his own preference but must be careful to always follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit. A Shepherd's View is full of encouragement for today's shepherds. There are biblical principles, application worksheets, and humorous and painful life experiences. The goal of this book is to help leaders shepherd after the pattern that God has designed. It is crucial that the leader cares properly for the people of God so they won't miss out on the Promised Land - Heaven. ABOUT THE AUTHOR _________________ Rufus K. "Sir Gibbie"- The novel follows Sir Gibbie on his adventures through the moors of Scotland's Highlands. Having no mother and an alcoholic father, Gibbie must survive on the streets as a child unable to read or speak. It is notable for its Doric dialogue, but has been criticized, especially by members of the Scottish Renaissance, for being part of the kailyard movement. Despite this, there are far more who claim the book paints a fair view of urban as well as rural life. The book doesn't seem to dwell as long on physical geography as it does on the spiritual geography of the soul. "Donal Grant" is the sequel to Sir Gibbie and it follows the steps of Gibbie's friend Donald as he tries to find a place for himself in the world. He manages to become a tutor to the son of an Earl. During his service he solves the mystery of the castle's lost room and, in the meanwhile, gets the interest of the earl's niece, who finds himself a special kind of person. George MacDonald (1824-1905) was a Scottish author, poet, and Christian minister. He was a pioneering figure in the field of fantasy literature and the mentor of fellow writer Lewis Carroll. His writings have been cited as a major literary influence by many notable authors including W. H. Auden, C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, Walter de la Mare, E. Nesbit and Madeleine L'Engle. G. K. Chesterton cited The Princess and the Goblin as a book that had "made a difference to my whole existence". MacDonald has been credited with founding the "kailyard school" of Scottish writing.
