There is a quiet crisis, and we each know it when we get there. We've tried to keep busy working, shopping, being socially active, getting high, or focusing on anything else so we wouldn't have to face the terrifying feelings and thoughts that come when we slow down for a moment. The crisis comes when we've done everything we can to feel safe and happy, and we still feel sad, alone, and empty as we lie in bed exhausted each night. The question we each have to answer is, "Who do you think you are?" Because we've mistaken our identity as being "only human," we've accepted limits that do not allow for the realization of our highest potential. Up until now, we've been missing incredible opportunities to live prosperous, loving, joy filled lives! An Emergency Department crisis counselor demonstrates that we are powerful sacred-human beings, with the ability to focus our thoughts and feelings in ways that will absolutely transform our lives. With awareness and practice, we can become our sacred Selves. For those who are hungry for change, it's time to joyfully move to The Other Side of the Crisis.

On the day of his wedding, Gravnick's life took a dark turn when his bride was brutally murdered. Fuelled by grief and determination, he embarks on a relentless quest to track down her elusive killer. Little does he know that the murderer was hired by a ruthless Mafia drug lord with a sinister agenda. As Gravnick navigates the treacherous path of vengeance, he finds an unexpected ally in his wife's genius son, Jonathan. Together, they embark on a journey that takes them to Israel, where Jonathan is to celebrate his Bar Mitzvah. But the shadows of danger are never far away. On their return flight aboard El Al, tragedy strikes again as their plane is attacked, leaving the pilots dead. In a twist of fate, Gravnick is chosen to attempt the impossible-- an emergency landing that will test his limits and redefine his destiny. Unbeknownst to him, she is a descendant of Moshe Dayan, the celebrated Israeli General, and a target of a relentless Syrian terrorist. Reveals the troubling intimacy between Black women and the making of US global power The year 1968 marked both the height of the worldwide Black liberation struggle and a turning point for the global reach of American power, which was built on the counterinsurgency honed on Black and other oppressed populations at home. The next five decades saw the consolidation of the culture of the American empire through what Erica R. Edwards calls the “imperial grammars of blackness.” This is a story of state power at its most devious and most absurd, and, at the same time, a literary history of Black feminist radicalism at its most trenchant. Edwards reveals how the long war on terror, beginning with the late–Cold War campaign against organizations like the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense and the Black Liberation Army, has relied on the labor and the fantasies of Black women to justify the imperial spread of capitalism. Black feminist writers not only understood that this would demand a shift in racial gendered power, but crafted ways of surviving it. The Other Side of Terror offers an interdisciplinary Black feminist analysis of militarism, security, policing, diversity, representation, intersectionality, and resistance, while discussing a wide array of literary and cultural texts, from the unpublished work of Black radical feminist June Jordan to the memoirs of Condoleezza Rice to the television series Scandal. With clear, moving prose, Edwards chronicles Black feminist organizing and writing on “the other side of terror”, which tracked changes in racial power, transformed African American literature and Black studies, and predicted the crises of our current era with unsettling accuracy.
