In the broad tapestry of human knowledge, few disciplines generate the same feeling of surprise and amazement as physics. It is a discipline that unravels the mysteries of the cosmos, uncovering the hidden symphonies that control everything from the smallest subatomic particles to the enormous expanses of galaxies. Yet, beyond its scientific precision, there remains a deeper, even lyrical, connection that many of us feel towards the mysteries of the physical world. "The Quantum Affection: Exploring the Romance of Physics" is an initiative to honor this deep and ongoing love connection between humans and the universe. Through its pages, we go on a trip that transcends numbers and labs, delving into the very core of what it means to be enthralled by the marvels of physics. This book is not a straightforward retelling of scientific facts and beliefs. Instead, it strives to expose the beauty, elegance, and intrinsic romance that reside within the complex fabric of the physical cosmos. We shall visit the pioneers of quantum physics, picture the cosmic ballets of particles, and consider the exciting prospects of other dimensions.

Who are we? Where we came from? Where are we going? Here are some questions that carry throughout life and are more present from the metanoia (or second half of life) - Greek word that has two roots: meta, which means both "significant change" and "beyond," derived from nous, a word of multiple and complex meanings, including "higher consciousness" - when man begins to wonder about the meaning of life, in search of spirituality. Respond to them has been the great challenge of science, performing research and studies in an attempt to clarify such mysteries. What brought this work can not carry the truth claim, but is only an understanding of reality mode. Nothing I can say about the origin or purpose of man since the process still takes place, that is, there is always a "being" (becoming, coming-to-be), a processing that seems to have to do with what Jung called "individuation" - or principle individuation - which is to carry out or consciously realize the full potential of each. What is up with this work is only the communication of compliance.

The Wissenschaftslehre or "doctrine of science" was the great achievement of the German idealist philosopher J. G. Fichte. Daniel Breazeale presents accessible new translations of three works in which Fichte developed this philosophical system. The centerpiece of this volume is a new English translation of Fichte's only full-scale presentation of the principles of his philosophy, the Foundation of the Entire Wissenschaftslehre (1794/95). Accompanying this are new translations of the work in which Fichte first publicly introduced his new system, Concerning the Concept of the Wissenschaftslehre (1794) and the Outline of what is Distinctive of the Wissenschaftslehre with respect to the Theoretical Power (1795), which was intended as a companion to the Foundation. In addition Breazeale includes the transcripts of Fichte's unpublished "Zurich lectures" on his system (1794), translated here for the first time in English. Breazeale supplements his translations with an extensive historical and systematic introduction, detailed outlines of the contents and structure of the Foundation and Outline, and copious scholarly annotation of the translated texts, helping to orient readers who may otherwise find themselves lost in the wilderness of Fichte's complex "derivations."

The Materiality Of Love written by Anna Malinowska and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-09-27 with Social Science categories.

Drawing on love studies and research in material cultures, this book seeks to re-examine love through materiality studies, especially their recent incarnations, new materialism and object-oriented philosophy, to spark a debate on the relationship between love, objects and forms of materializing affection. It focuses on love as a material form and traces connections between feelings and materiality, especially in relation to the changing notion of the material as marked by digital culture, as well as the developments in understanding the nature of non-human affect. It provides insight into how materiality, in its broadest sense, impacts the understanding of the meanings and practices of love today and reversely, how love contributes to the production and transformation of the material world.

Quantum Mechanics And The Philosophy Of Alfred North Whitehead written by Michael Epperson and has been published by Fordham Univ Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-09-18 with Philosophy categories.

In Process and Reality and other works, Alfred North Whitehead struggled to come to terms with the impact the new science of quantum mechanics would have on metaphysics. This ambitious book is the first extended analysis of the intricate relationships between relativity theory, quantum mechanics, and Whitehead's cosmology. Michael Epperson illuminates the intersection of science and philosophy in Whitehead's work-and details Whitehead's attempts to fashion an ontology coherent with quantum anomalies. Including a nonspecialist introduction to quantum mechanics, Epperson adds an essential new dimension to our understanding of Whitehead-and of the constantly enriching encounter between science and philosophy in our century.

Having set global warming in irreversible motion, we are facing the possibility of ecological catastrophe. But the environmental emergency is also a crisis for our philosophical habits of thought, confronting us with a problem that seems to defy not only our control but also our understanding. Global warming is perhaps the most dramatic example of what Timothy Morton calls “hyperobjects”—entities of such vast temporal and spatial dimensions that they defeat traditional ideas about what a thing is in the first place. In this book, Morton explains what hyperobjects are and their impact on how we think, how we coexist with one another and with nonhumans, and how we experience our politics, ethics, and art. Moving fluidly between philosophy, science, literature, visual and conceptual art, and popular culture, the book argues that hyperobjects show that the end of the world has already occurred in the sense that concepts such as world, nature, and even environment are no longer a meaningful horizon against which human events take place. Instead of inhabiting a world, we find ourselves inside a number of hyperobjects, such as climate, nuclear weapons, evolution, or relativity. Such objects put unbearable strains on our normal ways of reasoning. Insisting that we have to reinvent how we think to even begin to comprehend the world we now live in, Hyperobjects takes the first steps, outlining a genuinely postmodern ecological approach to thought and action.

The Magic of Quantum Living is a revolutionizing new theory, bringing together quantum physics, spirituality, and religion in order to explain God and the interconnectedness of the entire universe. This new quantum theory is an inspirational message explaining the entanglement and interrelation of all things and people as part of one big collective consciousness: the oneness principle. This theory highlights the way our thoughts, words, and actions, which are based on our beliefs, create our reality within a greater collective reality. Practical examples and explanations assist the reader in examining their own beliefs and behaviours, with the aim to foster and cultivate a greater respect and love for all of life, humanity, and our planet.
