The city is going through the worst heatwave on record. Tempers are flaring and water shortages are affecting everyone. The dogs suffer horribly for the cultures they'd been exposed to and before long, it's affecting their brains. These Dobermans are going mad and it's worse than rabies. Dr Williams, the Rankine Institute's Director fears for his beloved Institute, himself, and his granddaughter, Gisele. Not everyone gets out of this alive.
