God’s heart is redemptive in nature. God never quits on what He starts. He loves and saves to the uttermost, no matter what the cost. God always seeks to redeem and bring things back to Himself. We are called to be like Him, and hence our approach to life situations and to the problems we face must be redemptive as well. In this study, our goal is to understand and capture the redemptive heart of God, so that we will learn to view life’s situations with His redemptive eyes and learn to be coworkers with God in His redemptive process for things in our own lives as well as those around us. God’s redemptive process involves key elements of Time, Sacrifice, Forgiveness, and Restoration. We are here to be co-workers with God in this redemptive process. We must work with God, recognizing and following each element of His redemptive process, as He works to redeem things in our lives, as well as when we co-labor with Him to see His redemptive work take place in other people’s lives. What is it that you want God to redeem in your life? God is your Redeemer. Nothing is beyond His ability to redeem. You can look to Him in faith, no matter what your circumstances are and experience His redemptive work. This book will help you do this. The Minor Prophets are often overlooked and misunderstood by many people today. Christians frequently study memorable Old Testament characters such as Noah, Moses, or King David and fail to understand the message and messengers that form the final twelve books of the Old Testament. However, the writings of prophets such as Micah, Jonah, and Amos were intended to prepare readers for the coming of Christ. Through visions, oracles, and dramatic life experiences, the Minor Prophets prophecy and foreshadow the redemptive work of the coming Messiah. In this book, Benjamin Carver invites you to journey with him through a study of the Minor Prophets. Readers will develop a greater understanding of the mission of each prophet during their period of history and how each prophetic book foreshadows the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. In addition, the study guide at the conclusion of the book makes it a great choice for a Sunday school class or small group study.

This publication, “A Christian Theology On Man’s Need Of Redemption, God’s Redemptive Purpose And Christ’s Redemptive Work,” is proposed to cover commonly three points in the field of Christian doctrine. I understand the treatment is insufficient. The idea of the subject blocks sufficiency. Who could give a sufficient treatment to such a subject? There are radical and quick changes occurring in the field of theology. One endeavors the supposition that the vast majority of the progressions are currently the correct way. Men are turning their contemplations toward the need and reality of revelation, of man’s wrongdoing (sin) and powerlessness of both the individual and social disappointment of man without God, of the sufficiency of God’s grace for man’s need, and of the centrality of Jesus Christ and his saving work for mankind’s history. The matter of Christian religious theology is to analyze and set out as exactly as possible, precisely as could be allowed; how God saves men in this truly evil world, not to hypothesize about what God would have done in an entirely different sort of world. It ought to be recalled that theology is concerned, first, last and constantly, with the character of God. Theology is concerned about nothing else other than to express how God saves men in an evil world. Man does not live by bread alone. It is increasingly essential that man have something to live for than that he have something to live on; and existence without God isn’t true life. Present day man needs to confront that reality and acknowledge it. No mention of the work of the “Holy Spirit,” is mentioned for it is covered in a previous publication, entitled: “The Holy Spirit.” Finally, Reverend Dr. Wylie is devoted to publishing books that spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, helping Christians to live as per that gospel, advance restoration, revival in the church, give testimony regarding Jesus Christ, Christian Unity and Fellowship in Christian Love.

Although Jesus's work of redemption is often viewed as a singular event, a careful examination of Scripture reveals that the Messiah began his redemptive work just after the fall and will continue it to the end of the world. In the spirit of Jonathan Edwards's History of the Work of Redemption, distinguished theologian Gerald McDermott traces the progress of redemption throughout the Bible and Church history. This book connects the dots surrounding Israel, redemption by the Jewish Messiah, secular and sacred history, the world religions, and Jewish-Christian worship through liturgy and sacraments. It shows how Jesus as Messiah was redeeming throughout Old Testament history, and it carries that story up through the last two millennia. McDermott contends that it is only through a historical examination of the Messiah's redemption amid the turmoil of the world and the worship of his people that one can best see God's beauty.

How can we be restored to God's love? Is there a way back? Many people are put off Christianity by the idea of God punishing his Son for our sins. They find it hard to believe in a loving God who appears to be so angry and vindictive. Many also feel that the things Christians teach, publicly or privately, do not work for them in real life. This book therefore addresses some of the difficult questions that these people are asking. It is also for those who may be wanting to return to their faith, and for those who would like to explore it in greater depth. It aims to create an open theological landscape, which will take account of the many different ways in which we are saved and restored. Making Sense of God's Love will help to guide seekers towards a new understanding of what it really means to live as people who have been forgiven and brought into an honest and deep relationship with God through the atoning and redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
