God could have created anything He wanted, without all of the wickedness of man-whatever His will it must come to pass. Had He chosen it, we would have been perfect from the beginning, but as a potter shaping a lump of clay, although it starts out as dirt from the earth: the Potter's hands shape and reshapes, until it becomes a vessel that only He could create. Spending time with His children is what God enjoys, which is why He created us-conforming to His will enables us to inhabit His presence, where we receive Joy. The fall in the garden was no surprise to God; He knew what man would do before placing him there, just as He knows what you and I will do. All of creation leads up to Jesus Christ, and His oneness with the church. Coming in the flesh as the "Son of man," allowing His flesh to be nailed to the tree, removed the curse by "...being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree" (Gal. 3:13). And His resurrection completed the building of the (New Tabernacle), where those of us who have accepted Him as Lord and Savor dwell: now permitted into the Holy of Holies. Jesus told the Jews (speaking of His time in the tomb) He would "Destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days" (Jn. 2:18-20). "But he spoke of the temple of his body" (v. 21).

In the hearts of all mankind, of whatever race or station in life, there -. are inexpressible longings for something they do not now possess. This longing is implanted in the very constitution of man by a merciful God, that man may not be satisfied with his present conditions or attainments, whether bad, or good, or better. God desires that the human shallseek the best, and find it to the eternal blessing of his soul. Satan, by wily scheme and craft, has perverted these longings of the human heart. He makes men believe that this desire may be satisfied by pleasure, by wealth, by-ease, by fame, by power; but those who have been thus deceived by him (and they number myriads) find all these things pall upon the sense, leaving the soul as barren and unsatisfied as before. It is God's design that this longing of the human heart should lead to the One, who alone is able to satisfy it. The desire is of Him that it may lead to Him, the fullness and fulfillment of that desire. That fullness is found in Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Eternal God. "Forit was the good pleasure of the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell;" "for in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." And it is also true that "in Him ye are made full" with respect to every desire divinely implanted and normally followed. Haggai calls Him "the Desire of all nations," and we may well call Him "the Desire of all ages," even as He is "the King of ages." It is the purpose of this book to set forth Jesus Christ as the One in whom every longing may be satisfied. There is many a "Life of Christ" written, excellent, books, large funds of information, elaborate 'essays on chronology and contemporaneous history, customs, and events, with much of the teaching and many glimpses of the many-sided life of Jesus of Nazareth. Yet it may be truly.said, "The half has never been told." It is not, however, the purpose of this work to set forth a harmony of the Gospels, or even to give in stricdy chronological order the important events and wonderful Iessons of the life of Christ; its purpose is to present the love of God as revealed in His Son, the divine beauty of life of Christ, of which a1l may partake,and not to satisfy the desires of the .merely curious nor the questionings of critics. He had an extraordinary military career, retiring as an E7 (sergeant first class) with many military awards. He was a military postal inspector for five and a half years over Europe, Middle East, and Africa. He learned that the fourth commandment of the Ten Commandments deals with honoring YAH on the day He set aside for us to honor Him. Mr. Gooden believes it to be a test commandment. YAH has caused this man to ride upon the high places of the earth (see Isaiah 58:13-14). How as a child, he asked for these three things from YAH, and He granted his requests in a mighty way: (1) He asked to go to Jerusalem, and he has been there four times. (2) He asked to be a man after YAH's own heart. YAH allowed him to go to the tomb of King David with his son, John David. (3) He asked YAH for wisdom, and He granted his request. Mr. Gooden prayed and laid hands on three people that were near death and they recovered. YAH answered in a mighty way. One individual recently celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. He has spoken into the lives of three people who were in secret societies by telling them to confess their sins to YAH before they died. How he was able to locate his wife's aunt in another country (Germany) and how he found the exact room number in the hospital she was in and his wife was able to talk with her before she died. Here is just one of the stories where he received a word of knowledge to check his car after it had been serviced and found that his brand-new alternator had been stolen. He received a better alternator, and his PCM computer was installed for free. How he was able to find and fix a leak in a waterline buried three to five feet below the ground in a forest of trees. He has many stories to show that YAH has been working in his life. He hopes everyone that reads this book will be blessed by reading it. YAH is alive and so are His Words.
