The goal of ICOLLEC 2021 is to provide an academic forum for disseminating diverse scholarly, analytical, and practical perspectives on the tenets and nexuses through interdisciplinary dialog in the realms of humanities, education, and the arts. The topic for this year is "The Dynamics of Language, Literature, Education, Art, and Culture of a Changing Society in the Age of Disruption." We pledge to capture a vivid portrayal and a picturesque sphere for the various cutting-edge phenomena in language, literature, education, art, and culture. While the contributions and passion shown throughout the conference have far surpassed our expectations. As a result, we are overwhelmed with a sense of triumph and enlightenment. It is a great accomplishment for us to present the conference proceedings as the remembrance of the authors and delegates of ICOLLEC 2021 in a permanent record of what was presented. The proceedings are organized into three sections: language, literature, and culture. We collected 35 remarkable manuscripts in the discussion from around 60 papers presented. Hopefully, you will find it insightful, fascinating, and inspirational. This proceeding also includes two submissions from representatives of notable keynote speakers. For the subtheme in Representation of the Disruption Era in Literature, Prof. Dr. Sharmani Patricia Gabriel has written a piece titled: The Humanities in an Age of Neoliberal Disruption. For the sub-theme of Local Culture in Global Society, Dr. Hippolytus Kewwel, M. Hum., wrote an article entitled: Hermeneutic Dilemma in the Indonesian Interfaith Dialogue Program. Unfortunately, several manuscripts were not accepted due to reviewing results and capacity limits. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to distinguished reviewers for a thorough process in ensuring we obtain exceptional content for manuscripts published in EUDL proceedings. Problem-based learning (PBL) has excited interest among educators around the world for several decades. Among the most notable applications of PBL is the approach taken at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life sciences (FHML) at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Starting in 1974 as a medical school, the faculty embarked on the innovative pathway of problem-based learning, trying to establish a medical training program which applied recent insights of education which would be better adapted to the needs of the modem physician. The medical school, currently part of the FHML, can be considered as an 'established' school, where original innovations and educational changes have become part of a routine. The first book to bring this wealth of information together, Lessons from Problem-based Learning documents those findings and shares the experiences of those involved, to encourage further debate and refinement of problem-based learning in specific applications elsewhere and in general educational discussion and thought. In this book we respond to a higher education environment that is on the verge of profound changes by imagining an evolving and agile problem-based learning ecology for learning. The goal of doing so is to humanise university education by pursuing innovative approaches to student learning, teaching, curricula, assessment, and professional learning, and to employ interdisciplinary methods that go far beyond institutional walls and include student development and support, curriculum sustainability, research and the scholarship of teaching and learning, as well as administration and leadership. An agile problem-based learning (PBL) ecology for learning deliberately blurs the boundaries between disciplines, between students and teachers, between students and employers, between employers and teachers, between academics and professional staff, between formal and informal learning, and between teaching and research. It is based on the recognition that all of these elements are interconnected and constantly evolving, rather than being discrete and static. Throughout this book, our central argument is that there is no single person who is responsible for educating students. Rather, it is everyone’s responsibility – teachers, students, employers, administrators, and wider social networks, inside and outside of the university. Agile PBL is about making connections, rather than erecting barriers. In summary, this book is not about maintaining comfort zones, but rather about becoming comfortable with discomfort. The actual implementation is beyond the scope of this book and we envisage that changing perceptions towards this vision will itself be a mammoth task. However, we believe that the alternative of leaving things as they are would ultimately prove untenable, and more distressingly, would leave a generation of students afraid to think, feel, and act for themselves, let alone being able to face the challenges of the 21st century.

The methods by which a student becomes a speech and language therapist have developed since the 1970s and have been influenced by different models of higher and professional education.
