The taboo subject of openly refuting free will is now finally out of the closet. This book represents a shorter and easier to read version of its predecessor The Newer Testament - The Bible of Unfree Will. In its core essence, this book is The Newer Testament Edition Two. Bold, daring, core-shattering, and more to the point than edition one, this work challenges established and well-accepted truths about the freedom of man. This unique literary work is intended for anyone interested in deepening their understanding of why free will is pure nonsense and insanity -- something the entire world may soon need to discover. It's been 520 years since The New World was discovered by Columbus. The discoveries of The Newer Testament -- editions one and two will make his discoveries look inconsequential by comparison. By reading this book, you will quickly learn why the belief in free will is total, complete, utter nonsense and insanity.

The taboo subject of openly refuting free will is now finally out of the closet. Do we as human beings have the ability to make our own decisions in all matters of life? Is it left up to you and me to decide how our lives will be lived or is it up to God (the entirety of the universe)? We either have free will" or we dont. Many people love to say they have a little free will. A little free will means you do in fact believe in free will. This is a black or white issue. You either have free will or you dont. We cannot have two truths fighting against each other; if two truths do fight against each other then what you have is not truth. There can only be one truth in this matter and its about time to understand that Free Will" Is The Ultimate in Nonsense. By reading this bold and daring little book, you will quickly learn why the belief in "free will" is The Ultimate in Nonsense. This book along with The Newer Testament can prove and persuade you to the truth that free will doesnt exist. This book can also show you how a planet without free will is actually a better and more compassionate planet to live on. Lets face it. There will nothing be bigger than the forthcoming Free Will vs. No Free Will debate. This topic is now finally starting to hit the mainstream. According to this new kind of BIBLE, HUMAN BEINGS DO NOT HAVE FREE WILL. The implications of this bombshell discovery will shatter how people go about their lives and will be talked about everywhere all the time for there is no more important topic. Free Will is a faulty belief / premise and as human beings we must own up to the fact that weve got it all wrong. Amen. www.thebible.co.uk www.illusionfreewill.com

Does the idea that we have free will serve to foster our cruelty to one another? Richard Oerton has already dismissed the idea of free will as incoherent and illusory, doing so in The Nonsense of Free Will, a book described as “wonderfully clear – and very clever” by the New York Times bestselling author Sam Harris. The Cruelty of Free Will starts by recapitulating the theme of the earlier book, but then goes on to develop it in important ways. It asks two questions: why – and how – does free will belief persist so stubbornly? Philosophers and others who try to uphold free will are guided less by reason than by their own (probably unconscious) emotions. Blind to the fact that our everyday explanations of human behaviour are based, not on free will, but on an unacknowledged determinism, they try to preserve the idea of free will by means of sophistry and word-play. Their methods include a conjuring trick: that of replacing our common idea of free will with some other concept which, though they call it by the same name, actually involves no freedom of choice. Free will is thought to be a good thing and determinism a bad one, but Richard Oerton insists that we’ve got this the wrong way round because belief in free will fosters ignorance and cruelty. It allows us to think that those whose lives are bleak have only themselves to blame, and that criminals and other bad guys are embodiments of self-created wickedness deserving of retributive punishment – whereas in reality, we are all of us simply the products of biological and environmental luck. The Cruelty of Free Will asserts that human beings belong to what is still a savage species with few inhibitions against harming one another, and that we cling to the idea of free will mainly because it purports to justify the escape and expression of this savagery.

The Illusion Of Conscious Will written by Daniel M. Wegner and has been published by MIT Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2003-08-11 with Philosophy categories.

A novel contribution to the age-old debate about free will versus determinism. Do we consciously cause our actions, or do they happen to us? Philosophers, psychologists, neuroscientists, theologians, and lawyers have long debated the existence of free will versus determinism. In this book Daniel Wegner offers a novel understanding of the issue. Like actions, he argues, the feeling of conscious will is created by the mind and brain. Yet if psychological and neural mechanisms are responsible for all human behavior, how could we have conscious will? The feeling of conscious will, Wegner shows, helps us to appreciate and remember our authorship of the things our minds and bodies do. Yes, we feel that we consciously will our actions, Wegner says, but at the same time, our actions happen to us. Although conscious will is an illusion, it serves as a guide to understanding ourselves and to developing a sense of responsibility and morality. Approaching conscious will as a topic of psychological study, Wegner examines the issue from a variety of angles. He looks at illusions of the will—those cases where people feel that they are willing an act that they are not doing or, conversely, are not willing an act that they in fact are doing. He explores conscious will in hypnosis, Ouija board spelling, automatic writing, and facilitated communication, as well as in such phenomena as spirit possession, dissociative identity disorder, and trance channeling. The result is a book that sidesteps endless debates to focus, more fruitfully, on the impact on our lives of the illusion of conscious will.
