The saga continues as several search parties in turn are sent forth to recover Qwon. But with Susjee on his side their pursuers and indeed the combined Drumorian councils, struggle to deal with his threat. Qwon revels in his newfound freedom and cajoles little Susjee into one episode and crisis after another. When they are discovered sneaking around the village of a reclusive tribe in Death's nest known as the Gunns, they are considered spies for a forthcoming Drumorian invasion. To lure the Drumorians into the nest, which is littered with booby traps, the Gunns plunder the Drumorians' sacred treasure cave. It is a challenge the Drumorians cannot refuse and threatens to engulf the two sides in all-out war.

No story is as daring or as endearing as The Treasures of Drumory. Once read, a part of it will reside in a corner of your mind forever. Susjee Booth was once described as a mutation of a mutation: an incredibly small, strikingly disfigured little boy who came to possess extraordinary powers. Others described him as an alien, a description that would have amused his parents. For they hated him and came to abandon him in a remote area of the Scottish Highlands that happened to be the setting for a mini utopian state. In such a secretive and guarded society, a wandering individual such as he would be considered a grave and intolerable threat. As events unfold, he is befriended by two Drumorian boys: Qwon and Masoo, and in gratitude, he aims to serve them with blind obedience using his special powers. However, the trio's exploits whilst eye-opening and wildly exciting for the Aldie boys, prove extremely dangerous and inevitably incur the wrath of their town council who will do anything to protect their secret society. They order the boys to renounce Susjee but Qwon at least cannot bring himself to do so. He runs away with Susjee and the council are forced to send out a special squad to bring him back. Their instructions are clear: if Sujee interferes, shoot him.

This great swashbuckling trilogy concludes with the Drumorians trying to hoodwink Morgan (a female reporter from the outside world), into believing they live a simple lifestyle. They invite her to one of their gatherings, which transforms her whole outlook on life. She also becomes interested in Arroy, who has been assigned as her guide for the day. Presently, the Gunns start to ambush and kill Drumorians on their own territory. And when the time comes for Vye Ada's squad to escort Morgan out of Drumory, they are ambushed and she barely escapes with her life. Arroy has to rescue her but by then, the only refuge he can find from the pursuing Gunns is the sacred treasure cave. Love blossoms between them and Arroy commits treason, revealing the truth to her about the Drumorian way. In doing so, he hopes the council will feel obliged to offer her a place among them. Meanwhile, the Gunns are on the warpath and when Arroy spies them from No Man's ridge trying to outflank a great Drumorian army, he decides to battle his way through their lines to join his comrades. By this time, Susjee has been enlisted into the Drumorian army and when the deciding battle commences, his pure, gentle nature - if not his loyalty to Qwon and the Drumorians in general, is put to the ultimate test.

The last significant clash of arms in the American Indian Wars took place on December 29, 1890, on the banks of Wounded Knee Creek in South Dakota.
