"THERE IS NOTHING MORE POWERFUL OR PRECIOUS THAN LOVE."JJ Love is a winner, it's priceless. It's that everlasting power that always wins and never fails. True love is the source of happiness, prosperity and it's permanent because it's from God. God being love and omnipotent, He is also the Unifier. Therefore, anything done in unity and love is bound to be successful. In fact, "Victory is the daughter of love and unity." "Where there is no love, there is no life and no life means fatality or death." JJ Love is attractive and can only bring blessings into our lives. The world would be a much better place to live if every one of us could manifest some genuine love to one another. The human being is carnal, therefore weak and limited, that's why he needs a superior power in order to survive and prosper in this world led by the evil one. The Bible says in 1 John 5:19 that "The world is under the control of the evil one." Now because of this evil ruler, the war may never cease in this world. As a divider, he brings confusion and his plans are to separate and destroy the works of the Lord. Hatred is repulsive; it comes from the evil one and it's the source of bad thoughts, actions, trouble and diseases. The question is now living in the world, what can we do in order to stop his actions in our lives? We should simply return to the Creator of all good things, God Almighty. His plans are to love, protect, prosper and bless us (Jeremiah 29:11). By relying and trusting in the Lord for guidance, we are not only allowing love to prevail in our lives, but we are also standing for unity and assuring our future and that of our offspring. Some people are the victims of this world, because of their lack of knowledge. Hatred is a loser and love is a winner. Now who are you? Are you a winner or a loser? "IGNORANCE IS NOT DEFERENCE, IT'S A HINDRANCE" JJ THIS BOOK IS ABOUT LOVE, THE COMPLETE LOVE, AND NOTHING BUT TRUE LOVE

Why has the clean, limitless energy promised by fusion always seemed just out of reach? Search for the Ultimate Energy Source: A History of the U.S. Fusion Energy Program, explains the fundamentals and concepts behind fusion power, and traces the development of fusion historically by decade—covering its history as dictated by US government policies, its major successes, and its prognosis for the future. The reader will gain an understanding of how the development of fusion has been shaped by changing government priorities as well as other hurdles currently facing realization of fusion power. Advance Praise for Search for the Ultimate Energy Source: “Dr. Dean has been uniquely involved in world fusion research for decades and, in this book, describes the complicated realities like few others possibly could.” -Robert L. Hirsch, a former director of the US fusion program, an Assistant Administrator of the US Energy Research and Development Administration (ERDA); an executive at Exxon, Arco, and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI); and lead author of the book The Impending World Energy Mess (Apogee Prime Books, 2009). “In this book, Dr. Dean provides the many reasons why fusion has progressed more slowly than many had hoped. Budget is usually cited as the culprit, but policy is equally to blame. Facilities have been closed down before their jobs were done—or in some cases, even started. It seems this situation has become endemic in fusion, and if one thinks about it, in other nationally important Science and Technology initiatives as well.” -William R. Ellis, a former scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Associate Director of Research at the US Naval Research Laboratory, a vice president at Ebasco Services and at Raytheon, and chair of the US ITER Industry Council and the US ITER Industrial Consortium.

A dying dehydrated pregnant lady in labor is kept alive by the diverse team of professionals of the Doctors without Borders clinic located in Nepal’s impoverished North-Western region. In a grueling cow-like delivery, the mother gives birth to a baby boy and still carries a twelve-year-old fetus likely to die in her didelphys uterus. By the wonders of medical science and in a climate of international diplomatic conflicts, a team of experts gives birth to Emilie, the curled-up tadpole and performs multiple surgeries, organ transplants and physiotherapy to create a human body for the Miracle Girl. An Awards Ceremony is held to celebrate the Nobel Prize winning team. Crowned by the Elder during a colorful cultural ceremony by the Nepalese delegation, Queen Emilie stuns the scientific community with an appeal to humility with her message to stop behaving like gods, to acknowledge God as the ultimate source of knowledge and to submit to the Almighty’s wills

NOW A NATIONAL BESTSELLER The definitive guide to spreading ideas, building movements, and leaping ahead in our chaotic, connected age. Get the book New York Times columnist David Brooks calls "the best window I’ve seen into this new world." Why do some leap ahead while others fall behind in our chaotic, connected age? In New Power, Jeremy Heimans and Henry Timms confront the biggest stories of our time--the rise of mega-platforms like Facebook and Uber; the out-of-nowhere victories of Obama and Trump; the unexpected emergence of movements like #MeToo--and reveal what's really behind them: the rise of "new power." For most of human history, the rules of power were clear: power was something to be seized and then jealously guarded. This "old power" was out of reach for the vast majority of people. But our ubiquitous connectivity makes possible a different kind of power. "New power" is made by many. It is open, participatory, and peer-driven. It works like a current, not a currency--and it is most forceful when it surges. The battle between old and new power is determining who governs us, how we work, and even how we think and feel. New Power shines fresh light on the cultural phenomena of our day, from #BlackLivesMatter to the Ice Bucket Challenge to Airbnb, uncovering the new power forces that made them huge. Drawing on examples from business, activism, and pop culture, as well as the study of organizations like Lego, NASA, Reddit, and TED, Heimans and Timms explain how to build new power and channel it successfully. They also explore the dark side of these forces: the way ISIS has co-opted new power to monstrous ends, and the rise of the alt-right's "intensity machine." In an era increasingly shaped by new power, this groundbreaking book offers us a new way to understand the world--and our role in it.

For Public Service written by Paul Du Gay and has been published by Taylor & Francis this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2022-09-29 with Political Science categories.

This book develops a particular stance on the subject of public service. It does so in large part by indicating how early modern political concepts and theories of state, sovereignty, government, office and reason of state can shed light on current problems, failings and ethical dilemmas in politics, government and political administration. Simply put, public service is an activity involving the constitution, maintenance, projection and regulation of governmental authority. Public service therefore has a distinctive character because of the singularity of its ‘official’ object or ‘core task’ – namely, the activity of governing in an official capacity through and on behalf of a state. In pursuing this activity, public servants – civil, juridical and military – have a range of tasks to perform. It is only once the nature of those tasks is appreciated that we are able to identify the unique character of public service. The authors employ early modern political concepts and doctrines of state, sovereignty, government, office and reason of state in order to critically analyse contemporary political issues and offer solutions to problems concerning the status and conduct of public service. This book aims to remind public servants of the status of their ‘calling’ as office-holders in the service of the state, a daunting task given the rising tide of populism and the widespread prevalence of anti-statist, bureaucrat-bashing political discourse. It stresses the governmental dimension of the work of public servants as occupants of official roles in the service of the state, in order to reinforce their legitimate position in articulating public interests against the excesses of private interests and intense partisanship that continue to dominate many societies. This timely and thought-provoking book will be of great interest to those working within a range of fields in the humanities and social sciences, including political science, history, sociology, philosophy, organization studies and public administration.

The Primary Way written by Chung-ying Cheng and has been published by State University of New York Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-09-01 with Philosophy categories.

In The Primary Way, the distinguished scholar of Chinese philosophy Chung-ying Cheng synthesizes his lifetime of work on the Yijing, also known as the I Ching or Book of Changes. Cheng offers a systematic engagement with the classic Chinese text as a philosophy that is still valuable and relevant today. In contemporary philosophical terms, Cheng has developed the ontological hermeneutics of the Yijing as well as its philosophical methodology of symbolic reference in a holistic and onto-generative system of trigrams and hexagrams. The book is organized around eight themes that illuminate Cheng's interpretation of the Yijing as a philosophy for creative human action and transformation. He demonstrates how the philosophy of change in the Yijing embodies early Chinese ontology, cosmology, epistemology, and virtue ethics in the interpretation of divinatory judgments. Cheng's work shows how the philosophy of change contains a vision of humanity as creatively related to heaven and earth, and how it gives positive meaning to any change as part of a ceaseless creativity. With this understanding, it enables humanity to develop its potential as a partner of heaven and earth.
