"...[This book contains] invaluable material for the child therapist with varied theoretical backgrounds to more confidently apply EMDR to children." -- Frances Klaff, for Journal of EMDR Practice and Research, Volume 3, Number 3, 2009 In this book the authors present an overview of how therapists can get started in conceptualizing psychotherapy with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) methodology through Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) theory. The focus of the book is to teach therapists to effectively use the entire EMDR protocol with young children. The first chapter provides a comprehensive overview of how to get started with EMDR after completing basic training. The book continues with chapters that detail the basic skills in using EMDR with children and then transitions to more advanced skills in using EMDR with children with specific diagnosis and presenting issues. They follow with a chapter summarizing the published evidence to date supporting the practice of EMDR with children. Data is then incorporated into a chapter summarizing their research on EMDR with young children in order to provide evidence of therapists' ability to adhere to the EMDR protocol with children, and to document their research findings about training therapists to use EMDR with children. Finally, they conclude the book with goals for the future of EMDR with children while encouraging therapists to consider conducting research in order to compel the practice of EMDR with children into the mainstream of child psychotherapy. It is a major task of the book to inspire therapists to begin thinking about conducting research and how important research is to therapists in order to validate and advance the practice of psychotherapy. In the end, the most significant goal of this book is to provide best practice for children who are in need of expert psychotherapy in order to change the trajectory of their lives. The hope is to provide guidance and support to therapists in order to launch them in their practice of EMDR. This is the art of treating children with EMDR.

Green Day are one of rock history’s greatest and most successful bands. Singer/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool have been together creating rock music with a punk heart for over three decades. The trio has reigned supreme, shattering previously conceived notions of how commercially successful a punk rock band can be, by helping extend the boundaries of the genre by adding excellent pop/rock songwriting. Green Day harnessed alternative music’s creativity with a passion and fire that ignited two of rock’s best albums, the influential Dookie, which sold 20 million copies, and the culturally important rock opera American Idiot, which sold 16 million and went on to become a Broadway show. In their 30-plus years, Green Day revolutionized rock musically and lyrically, inspiring countless bands. During the 1990s, they lead the pop-punk charge, and in the 2000s, they inspired a second generation of fans and bands through a lyrically intelligent and musically complex style of hard rock. Green Day: On Track takes a journey through the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame band’s career, analyzing every album and song in their remarkable catalogue. William E. Spevack has been published in the magazines Laptop, CPU, and PC Upgrade as well as the music website AlternativeNation.net. His first book, Keep On Shining: A Guide Through the Music of Love & Arthur Lee, was published in December 2021. He is a Bard graduate and a passionate music fan, who enjoys writing about music, playing sports, playing keyboards and reading music history books that focus on the music specifically. He lives in New York City.

What if, before finishing the final book of her phenomenally popular children's book series, the author were to mysteriously die? This is what happened to Fern Caldwell, author of the "Sydney Wakefield" books. The series about a young girl who travels to Avalon to rescue King Arthur from an evil Morgan le Fay is Henderson Green's favorite. When Fern dies, Henderson is devastated. But when Fern Caldwell's ghost appears to him, asking for help, Henderson realizes he is the only one who can help her finish the final book and get it published. Why is this so important? Because the real Sydney is trapped in Avalon with King Arthur. With Henderson's help, Fern can finish the story and write Sydney and King Arthur out of Morgan's dark realm once and for all. Henderson finds himself playing a role in the story where the lines between what is real and what is fiction are blurred, where his favorite literary characters actually exist, and where the fate of the once and future King hangs in the balance.
