Das Therapieprogramm THAV stellt ein umfassendes Behandlungspaket zur multimodalen Therapie von Kindern mit aggressivem Verhalten besonders gegenüber Gleichaltrigen dar. Es eignet sich insbesondere für den Einsatz bei Kindern im Alter von 6 bis12 Jahren mit reaktiv aggressivem Verhalten und Problemen der Affektregulation sowie bei Kindern mit proaktiv aggressivem Verhalten und begrenzten prosozialen zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungs- und emotionalen Reaktionsmustern. Mit dieser Neuauflage liegt nun eine umfassende Überarbeitung und Erweiterung des Therapieprogrammes vor. Das Manual liefert zunächst eine Beschreibung der Störungen und geht auf die Ursachen von reaktivem und proaktivem aggressivem Verhalten sowie mögliche Ansatzpunkte für die Therapie ein. Umfassend werden dann die 16 Bausteine des modular aufgebauten Behandlungsprogrammes erläutert. Die Schwerpunkte der patientenzentrierten Interventionen liegen hierbei auf der Modifikation sozialer Kognitionen und der Emotionsverarbeitung sowie dem sozialen Problemlöse- und Verhaltenstraining. Der Ansatzpunkt für die patientenzentrierten Interventionen sind individuelle Situationen, in denen das Kind reaktives oder proaktives aggressives Verhalten gegenüber Gleichaltrigen zeigt. In der Neubearbeitung wurden für Kinder mit reaktiv aggressivem Verhalten Interventionen zur Verminderung affektiver Dysregulationen ergänzt. Zur Behandlung von Kindern mit proaktiv-aggressivem Verhalten wurden Module neu entwickelt, die dem Kind helfen können, sich in die Gedanken, Gefühle oder Motive eines anderen hineinzuversetzen sowie Empathie und prosoziale Emotionalität zu stärken. Zur Modifikation sozialer Interaktionen bezieht das Therapieprogramm zudem eltern-, lehrer- und gleichaltrigenzentrierte Interventionen mit ein. Die zahlreichen Arbeitsmaterialien für die Kinder und ihre Bezugspersonen können direkt von der beiliegenden CD-ROM ausgedruckt werden.
