We were blessed to grow up in Roman Catholic families, and were married in the Church in 1960. Barb gave birth to six children during the next ten years. During this time, we made eight physical household moves, four of the relocations were made with newborn babies in tow! In 1974, we made the difficult decision to leave the Catholic Church, and have been actively involved in Bible Churches ever since. Who would believe our schedule? We participated in every type of volunteer service available, including: basketball and soccer coach, Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teachers, and always time for family dinners. Barb was a stay-at-home mom, and eventually achieved an Interior Design degree. I worked for one employer for almost 50 years, which included five different companies, and positions from Apprentice to Director. Now comes our together time. In 1985, Barb started to accompany me on business travel trips. We have traveled extensively: Europe, Canada, Alaska, Mexico, Caribbean, China, Russia and South Africa. Along the way, we have owned 36 automobiles, one truck and one motorcycle. Please come along for the ride of our lifetimes; we hope that you will enjoy it half as much as we have!

It S Never Too Late To Dance written by Donald Neidigk and has been published by CSS Publishing Company this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2022 with Dance categories.

""You and I always have reasons to dance, things to rejoice in." No matter your situation, regardless of the ups and downs throughout our life, God is with you through it all. Since we only have so much time on this earth, it is better to spend what time we do have enjoying what we can. Donald Neidigk explains that our happiness, how much we enjoy life is solely up to us and the way that we approach each experience. Happiness is a matter of choosing how we will think and the actions we decide to take. When we assume primary responsibility for the happiness of others, we often leave ourselves without joy, and often feelings of resentment. However, as Neidigk's book states, It's Never Too Late to Dance! In this instance, Neidigk defines dancing as rejoicing in life, especially over small accomplishments and taking every opportunity to dance. There is no reason to feel guilty about dancing; you are a child of God, made in his image, and that alone is cause for celebration! This book is intended for use by any member of the church family, individuals who love serving God and want to experience sustainable joy in their work. At the end of each chapter, Neidigk has included discussion questions, to ask in private or discuss with a group"--

An assault on the senses, part murder mystery, part metaphysical speculation; a fable for our times as catchy as a rock song blasting from the window of a sports car. High-class call girls billed to Mastercard. A psychic 13-year-old dropout with a passion for Talking Heads. A hunky matinee idol doomed to play dentists and teachers. A one-armed beach-combing poet, an uptight hotel clerk and one very bemused narrator caught in the web of advanced capitalist mayhem. Combine this offbeat cast of characters with Murakami's idiosyncratic prose and out comes Dance Dance Dance. 'If Raymond Chandler had lived long enough to see Blade Runner, he might have written something like Dance Dance Dance' Observer

The Divine Dance has become a classic for fans of Richard Rohr and an important book on Christian mysticism, it provides a fresh perspective for anyone studying or teaching the trinity. The Trinity is the central doctrine of Christianity, but it is still widely considered a mystery we won't ever fully understand. Should we still try to understand it, even so? If we could, how would it transform our relationship with God? In this stimulating and thought-provoking book, internationally recognised teacher Richard Rohr explores the nature of God and the paradoxical idea of the Holy Trinity as both three and one. With clear, surefooted wisdom, he encourages us to build on the early Christian understanding of the relationship between Father, Son and Spirit as a flow and dance - a Divine Dance - that we are invited to join in. An engaging, accessible look at the nature of God, The Divine Dance will challenge the way you think about the Trinity and give you a much fuller understanding of the triune relationship that is at the heart of Christian doctrine. It will leave you with a faith that is renewed and strengthened, and show you how you can engage more deeply in your relationship with God and the world through the Trinity.

Law S Evolution And Human Understanding written by Laurence Claus and has been published by Oxford University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-09-10 with Law categories.

When should we follow the law? How can we know what law's words mean? What is law? Law's Evolution and Human Understanding presents fresh and surprising answers to these questions. In an account alive with the stories of our shared human history, Laurence Claus explains why we should discard the old idea that legal rules tell us what to do, and instead see law as a system of sayings that evolves among humans to help us better understand each other. When driving on public roads, when buying and selling, and in countless other aspects of our work and play, we depend on law to let us know what other people are likely to do and to expect of us. Through fast-paced pages of anecdote and argument, Law's Evolution and Human Understanding explains the revolutionary consequences of seeing law as truly what Oliver Wendell Holmes called it: systematized prediction. The book reveals how this vision of law can transform our thinking about the way we make moral decisions, about the way we read law, and about many other ways that law affects our lives.

Looking for the last remains of human life, a lonesome wanderer must find his identity and the reason for his journey. The fallen Earth holds secrets, an ancient war that will show him he is not alone. With old forgotten feelings of mistrust and sorrow, the Wanderer will have to navigate his path and remember his past. The journey is long, filled with thorns and friendly people with hidden agendas. And unfortunately, not all have his best interest at heart. The Wanderer will have to stay neutral and true to his path if he wants to uncover the truth. But all things come with a price, and the cost might be his soul. ————— Life as we know is gone. The once vivid city now stands abandoned. Earth became a wasteland, stripped of all life. Broken, confused, and in a desperate search for answers, one person still roams its desolate remains. The Wanderer has no memories, no recollection of the events that led to the end of the world. All he sees are deserted buildings and the smoke that covers the sun. While taking shelter in an abandoned house one night, the last man on Earth gets a knock on his door. He finds an unexpected guide in a woman who feels familiar. Will he choose to keep traversing these lands, lost as before, or will he take her guidance to find the answers his heart so deeply desires? ————— The Wanderer wishes to find another one of his kind. But when his wish is granted, he soon realizes that the truth comes with a price: his soul. Are we truly free, or is destiny pulling the strings of our life choices? "An enticing and intriguing tale! I found myself wanting to know more about the Wanderer as he struggled to learn more about himself and understand his role in a post-apocalyptic setting." -Alex Williams, Editor.
